    Great tutorials on sleeve adjustments! I've had problems over the years with not enough ease in the bicep areas on purchased shirts. I started avoiding button-down shirts altogether because they were tight across the biceps when I moved my arms and were uncomfortable. It wasn't until I saw your video re: the slash and spread method to put more ease in or widen a sleeve that was an absolute game changer! I've learned so much from you and other sewists' YT videos concerning pattern adjusting. So very, very grateful to all of you for sharing your knowledge with those of us that found sewing very frustrating and, at times, defeating. ❤ Thanks, Anastasia!

    Hello, a quick and smart solution..I have a question. Does the height of the sleeve head change?

    Hi Anastasia making a jacket for my hubby and having problems with the 2 part sleeve, drafted a sleeve and it fitted armhole really well but, when hubby tried it on and lifted his arm up the top of the sleeve creased really badly looking almost twisted, what have I done wrong, and how can I fix it ?

    • @SewAnastasia

      It sounds like it is set in wrong. When the garment hangs on a hanger the sleeve should swing forward. If you look at him from the side notice the natural hang of his arm. You need your sleeve to hang that way when its on a hanger and you will not have the twisting. I hope you get it to work.

    First, does this work if the sleeve cap is NOT symmetrical? Second, could you use MORE tape? 😳. JK! Love the channel! ❤

    • @SewAnastasia
      @SewAnastasia  Год назад

      Yes. The back sleeve cap will usually be bigger. This should evenly adjust it but if u need to adjust the sleeve to be more in the back or the front you can totally do that. Just blend it smooth after you do. & I totally need to invest in the tape company lol 😂 Thanks for watching!

    Why don’t u decrease the cap by cutting its edges?
