Very nice! I loved to see your whole family working together with you on your form. Sorry about the distortion, but I do hope you fill in the voids. You worked too hard, and it turned out so nice, so I hope you do fill them in. Thank you for sharing!❤❤❤
A very well thought out process and so informative and useful. It is such a shame the form didn’t last long. May I make a suggestion? It actually occurred to me ( coming from complete ignorance in the matter) but I had a worry when I saw you do small individual pours that maybe the bond between the different pours may not bond very well to each other. It’s also possible that as the medium expanded inside the cast, that some surfaces became contaminated with Vaseline and may have compromised the foam in some areas. When I searched and found your video, I initially thought you were going to use expanding spray foam and was surprised you were mixing it yourself ( I didn’t know you could do it that way). May I ask if you had considered the spray packing foam and if you did consider it, why did you choose the method you ultimately chose? Thank you so very much for sharing your hard work and masterpiece. You are very talented ❤
This was such a great video, thank you so much for posting it! I'm so sorry your foam didn't last, that must have been really disappointing. I'm going to try your method but since I'm in Canada I'll be using a different brand of expanding foam and hope for the best.
What a nice, detailed and clear step by step video! (And a very helpful family:-) Thank you so much for that. I wonder if doing partial pours of the expanding foam mix would help to avoid the air bubbles. Also possibly if there were a couple of "escape routes" for the foam to travel (like the leg holes, something in mid back. The excess dried foam would have to be carved off but maybe that would help. When I made foot shapes (for wet-felted slippers) with expanding foam using rubber boots as forms, I had to do partial pours.
This is SO impressive. Thanks for your amazing teaching and for your generosity!!! I'm very inspired.

Thank you so much for sharing all the process! I learned a lot!!!
Omg, all this work and it lasted only 3 months, so sad 😔 will NOT be making one for myself 😂 great job though and great video!❤
Enjoyed the video.
I’d like to make a tailors mannequin of myself one day.
Thank you.
