    Love the house and the area. I do worry that it seems like most of Idaho is starting to slow/cool and I'm seeing numerous price reductions. Might need to wait a bit longer. Either way, loved the video!

    • @SummerAstonRealEstate

      Thanks for watching! The market is adjusting with more inventory, but interest rates are low. If prices drop a bit and interest rates rise, house payments can actually cost more. Even though we don’t have multiple offers as much right now, most homes that are priced well and show well are selling in a couple of weeks. Still a strong sellers market! But corrections are being made. Just have to keep your eye on those interest rates too!

    why are there no trees of any kind around?

    • @SummerAstonRealEstate
      @SummerAstonRealEstate  Год назад

      This community is in the Boise foothills, which has no trees. It is dry grass and sage brush. Avimor is a water wise community and so they have low water landscaping. There are many areas in Boise with trees - trees that are planted...it is called the "City of Trees". So check out many of my other neighborhood tour videos and you will see that. But Boise doesn't have evergreen trees all over like North Idaho. We are a high desert climate and about a 45 minute drive to the mountains where the evergreen trees are.

    What are the SIDS, LIDS, and HOA fees for that community? I live in Vegas and want to buy a second home in Idaho for retirement.

    • @SummerAstonRealEstate
      @SummerAstonRealEstate  Год назад +1

      I am not familiar with SIDS and LIDS fees - I don't think we have those here unless we call them something else. But there is only one fee for Avimor, the HOA fee, which, as of writing this comment, is $225/quarter - includes access to all the trails, indoor pool, outdoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, gym, etc..

      @@SummerAstonRealEstate Thanks for the quick reply. Do you guys get snow in the winter? Are the hills always so brown?

    • @SummerAstonRealEstate
      @SummerAstonRealEstate  Год назад +1

      @@SushiFanatic I have a video all about the weather here: ruclips.net/video/4eyPmZtgb-w/видео.html. (Also, if you go to my channel, I have a ton of videos about all kinds of communities and other things for the Boise area). But yes, we do get a little snow in the winter - much less than the rest of Idaho. Some winters, we don't get hardly any snow. Every once in a while, we may get like 8 inches that sticks around for a week or so, but usually we get a couple of inches overnight that melts by the afternoon. No, the hills aren't always so brown. They green up in the spring for about 2 months. Then they turn golden, then more brown. This video was taken in the fall when they are turning more brown for the winter. We are a high desert climate so we don't get much rain.

    the only thing I don't like is that there are almost no trees anywhere, why don't they plant more trees in Boise???

    • @SummerAstonRealEstate
      @SummerAstonRealEstate  2 года назад

      Boise is a high desert climate and gets very little rain/snowfall. So it takes lots of water to have lots of trees. There are lots of trees in the city of Boise, close to the river. There are some neighborhoods filled with trees and it's very lovely. But there is also beauty in the foothill areas, which have very few trees due to lack of water sources, but it still has it's own beauty. The great thing about living close to the foothills and river in Boise is that you can have both- you can get to the river in minutes to be by trees, you can get to the foothills in minutes to be in the open space, or you can drive an hour to the forests, or drive an hour south to the desert. It's pretty diverse in landscape around here if people are willing to get out and explore.

    • @WhiteKitta
      @WhiteKitta 2 года назад

      @@SummerAstonRealEstate oh thats sad.... I would still just plant desert tree's, they don't need that much water...
