    I alternate riding my two bikes, a 2022 Indian FTR & a 2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848. I love them both, they ride very differently, sit a bit differently, and the HP/Torque delivery is where they are most different. Ducati is just premium as F & Indian is also top notch quality on everything. The real truth I've discovered riding so many bikes now is that I'd be happy on any of them, I just love to ride & have never ridden anything I wouldn't own. Caveat: I commute & canyon ride on my bikes so I don't do any long 3+ hour rides or cross-country camping type trips, I imagine a cruiser would be much more suitable for that kind of riding.

    Fantastic advice and mirrors my own experience... I wanted a Panigale 899/959 for years but never bought one, then started to realise the riding position of sports bikes with clip-ons no longer makes sense on road... I moved over to sporty naked bikes, but have also realised that any more than about 150bhp is totally excessive (150bhp is pretty excessive on road anyway!) and you just can't really use it... The V2 is also a much friendlier bike to ride than all of the 200bhp monsters, and I feel more enjoyment out of riding it somewhere near the limits of its capability than I do from just holding on to a 200bhp rocket that I'm coming nowhere near what it is capable of!

    • @LEVELMotorsports

      You made a good choice. I bought a 959 after coming from a Monster 1200S, Diavel Carbon, and a Multistrada 1260S. I thought I would love it, but I hated it. It was super uncomfortable to ride every day. It ran super hot. It just wasn't an enjoyable experience. The Streetfighter platform is much better for every day use. I'd take my V4S over a Panigale any day for my use case - which is road riding.

    スタイリングは非常に似ていますが、全く別のバイクだと確信しました。
    故に私はV2を選びます。あのスーパークアドラエンジンの鼓動が好きです。

    is there any Better alternative s of naked V2? With the same or less price range

    • @volodymyrshoniia2424
      @volodymyrshoniia2424 Год назад +4

      Literally almost any bike around that price or even a lot cheaper. Almost all of them will have cruise control and fuel gauges, maybe some better components as well.
      Base tuono v4 is a bit cheaper, has much more usable power and torque (extremely powerful midrange) as well as more of both, has cruise control and fuel gauge, has wind protection. It is bigger/heavier, less agile at lower speeds, but also more stable at higher speeds. M50 brakes here which are better. Amazing sound of the real v4 unlike the nonsensical twin like sounding thanks to twin pulse firing order Ducati v4.
      Slightly used superduke can be had for the same or less, new one is a bit more. Most usable and accessible torque and power on the street since it's a giant v twin that isn't tuned to rev and sacrifice all of it's bottom and midrange like superquadro, better brakes there too, stylema in this case.
      890 duke r is a lot more fun for a lot less money supposedly, comes with stylemas as well. It's lighter, even smaller feeling, and the torque/power is more usable in the rpm range for the street, it makes more than Sfv2 until around 8000 rpm where streetfighter just gets to its best part from 8500 to 11500 and with the KTM it's time to shift into the next year, shorter gearing makes it more engaging as well. It's a parallel twin that is engineered to mimic a KTM v twin. The fit and finish isn't anywhere as premium as streetfighter, 890 is rather cheap feeling, but it's also a lot cheaper, not as pretty either.
      Zh2 can be had for sfv2 money or less, they are often discounted since people don't want to spend that crazy money on a Kawasaki. Lots of power, but also rather big and heavy, so doesn't handle as well. It's more for comfort. You also get some cool noises from the supercharged inline 4 there.
      S1000R can be had for similar money too, there you would also have electronic suspension, the inline 4 engine needs a lot of revs to make power just like superquadro, albeit it still makes more power than Sfv2 everywhere. Many say it's the best real world naked, many also say it lacks character due to having a traditional inline 4 engine. The new m1000r will probably be just as ridiculous as streetfighter v4.
      Mt10 sp can be had for same money with electronic suspension and more usable powerband, more fun if you like wheelies, brakes and handling are most likely not as good. Or you can save even more with a base MT-10. Crossplane inline 4 there.
      Gsxs 1000 is a lot cheaper and more basic in fit and finish as well as electronics. It's a budget option after all. Something similar goes for the Honda's offering.
      KTM is more on hooligan side, Ducati can be more refined/sedate/docile but also sporty, Aprilia is in-between, triumph is very refined, Yamaha is somewhere in-between Aprilia and Ducati along with Kawasaki, BMW is generally bland. European bikes have more sophisticated electronics than Japanese.
      Streetfighter is a comfy sport bike without features that should be on any bike at that price point, the power is very high in the rpm range, the looks are amazing, the handling is great too. It's a super middleweight naked I guess, you don't quite get the performance of actual super nakeds but you do basically pay supernaked money.
      Perhaps the newest street triple RS or moto 3 can compare pretty favorably as well. There's also speed triple.
      It all depends on your preferences for the engine character, how important the features and perhaps passenger accomodations or being suited for touring are to you.
      It's more about them all being different experiences and some being more suited for certain jobs rather than being outright better or worse, most are better value than Ducati, but nobody buys a Ducati looking for value. Ducati does have great looks and performance/electronics as well as unique engine characters. With the V2 you get a rev happy top endy twin that you won't find anywhere else. It's also more engaging/involving/fun than sfv4.
      Ride them all and see what you like unless you already know your preferences.

      @Aprival 5 месяцев назад

      Or get the V4/V4s and avoid losing your warranty on a remap. The V4 has more torque 100Nm at 5,500rpm. On the V2 you need to go to 9,500rpm to get the same amount of torque. That's why it is so smooth vs. the V2.

    This is a great comparison. I had the choice between a V2 and a V4S when I was looking to buy. I went with the V4S for a few reasons. I wanted the Ohlins suspension because I've had a few Ducatis with it in the past, along with the active non-Ohlins Skyhook suspension on a Multi 1260S. The V4S has Ohlins that are also active, so I knew the suspension would be great. The V4S was also the satin black version, so I liked the looks more. There were other reasons but I won't let this get too long. I had a 959 with that same L-twin Superquadro and it's PLENTY of power for the road. I don't think anyone would be left wanting with the power of a V2, nor would I ever look down on someone for choosing one. They're both awesome motorcycles.

Must have one. So I traded in for a ZX1200R Ninja. Even faster. More insane. Great right. Wrong ! It turned out to be almost useless here in the north east USA. Nowhere to use that kind of power on the street. If you try long enough, you will either be arrested or dead. They might even arrest you after your dead.
