    I loosened the camshaft sprockets by leaving the chain on and holding the crank bolt in place. Worked like a charm and was very easy.

    You doing o.k. tackling this job. It is proper timing chain replacement. I hope you are going to replace water pump as well.
    I would like to give you a tip, if you ever going to do a similar job, consider placing a piece of cardboard to protect the A/C condenser.

      Thank you! Yes, the water pump got replaced as well.
      That's a good tip, I wonder why I didn't think of it when doing this.. anyway I did hit the condenser at one point so it would have been good to protect it. (Y)

    How many miles it had for the time you had to change the timing chain? Thanks

      This was done at about 77.600 miles / 125.000 km. Sorry for the late reply!
