The PineTime is so cool!
I like what you said at the end: "This is something we built together and is something to be proud of."
Well, I'm proud of everyone who worked hard on making this all come together. Thank you!
Been waiting for a simple, updatable smartwatch. A version with an AMOLED or e-paper display would finally fill the void left by pebble.
having a second button that's programmable would be a nice feature for a future revision
This is awesome, an open source smart watch.
Y'all have it figured out for a FOSS community/company. Make the hardware inexpensive and high quality, and programmers will flock to you! Thanks!
This video got me so excited, ordered mine right away.
Just ordered my Pinetime (sealed) and I can't wait for it to arrive, I currently use a iTech smartwatch. But I wanted something more open sourced and privacy friendly. And found this!
Im genially so happy to see fully open sourced smart watches becoming more popular! They might not be on par with something like a apple smart watch, but oh boy they sure do pack a punch.
Cant wait to see if Pine64 decides to drop a pinetime 2, with more features.
Incredible
Congratulations!
I hope its available again soon! I cant wait to get my hands on it!
0:12 mm yes what a nice and healthy 8 bpm hart rate
How did I miss this???
Might swich to this from my amazfit bip lol. How long is the battery life with HR Monitor off?
So if I buy one from the link,
will it have an OS upon arrival?
this watch is ♾/5 stars battery life is incredible, water proof, FOSS, the default operating system is easily custimizable, replacable watch band, very cheap for a smart watch, i could go on forever. i once accidantly wore it in the shower, and it was completely fine when i came out it was not effected 1 bit. and theres 2048, pong, drawing thing, heart thing and step count etc. the only 2 bad things about it, is it kinda needs a power brick to be charged and is it just me or is it impossible to find one. and if it does run out of battery (which is probably not ever gonna happen) the date and time resets to something completely different. but the best watch on the market for sure
Good! But I need more powerful linux phone.
Get the Purism Librem5 then.
Can we make nfc payments to post terminal s
can it measure HRV (heart rate variability)?
If it can't yet, I'm sure someone will add it, that's the magic of having an open source device, maybe I'll buy one.
Is infinitime compatible with a iphone?
Just bought one
Same! I can't wait!
Great work .
Make it bezel less , it will so cool .
Not a bad idea for a smart-watch because you don't have to hold the edges with your hand. Though, if you notice how remarkably low the prices are, you may see a reason why the bezel is present. :-)
add an mp3 playerrrrrr
*he is
