Hi - I'm debating between the Divus and Orb. Can you recommend any points to think about when deciding between the two? Is there that much of a noticeable difference?
The turn radius is probably the biggest difference. You get a longer arc with the Orb, so the Divus is more of a shorter-turning ski. The 6mm of waist width difference is basically the only measurement change, so the resulting turn shape is sharper.
Hi, I have the Volkl Mantra M6 2022 and I have a really good ski level and I'm looking for a better ski for the resort or when it hasn't snowed for a while. I want to be able to quick turn and carve on hard packed snow, or frozen snow. But also to be able to go a bit between trees if I want to, is this the ski I need ? How does it compare to the dictator 1.0 from Faction ? thanks !
Hi! I think I answered this on another thread, but the Faction is poppier due to the camber while the Divus is more of a refined and quiet product. I'd rather ski the Divus in any off-trail situation due to the flatter profile, but the Faction has a whole lot of built-in energy for sure! SE
Overall, quite similar. I do think the Experience 82 feels more like a carving ski with some all-mountain versatility while the Divus feels like an all-mountain ski that's pretty good at carving. Does that make sense? In other words, I think you gain some versatility with the Divus, but sacrifice on firm snow precision and edge grip.
Pretty similar overall. I find the Divus feels a little more playful, forgiving, and user-friendly. The Declivity 82 Ti isn't overly demanding, but isn't quite as easy as the Divus. It's also a little more powerful, in my opinion. Hope that helps!
I'm 170lb and 5 10. Intermediate to advanced. What would you recommend for size mainly for the northeast groomers. I'm currently skiing on a 165 Line ski. Thx.
I think a beginner could ski the Divus, yeah. It's not really designed for a beginner skier, but it's also quite approachable and not too demanding. Not too heavy, relatively forgiving, I think it would be just fine for a beginner.
Hi thanks for the reviews ! I'm intermediate 191cm 75kg skier, what size would you recommend ?
I'd go with the 182 in that ski--you have the size, I think the 177 would be on the short side.

Julian mentions differences in the end of the video on the blackcrows divus webpage. check it out.
Hi, I’m 171cm, 65kg. I’m wondering whether it’ll be better to go for the 167 model or the 172 model? Any advice would be appreciated.
HI Josh!
If you're faster and more aggressive, 172, but if you prefer mellower speeds and turns, I do not think 167 will be too short.

@@SkiEssentials OK thanks I actually asked in the two videos ;)
I thought the dictator would be better off trail because it is larger
How do these compare to Rossignol Experience 82 Ti?

I'd go with the 167.2 in that ski. Very fun and solid on the groomers!

My size is 162 should i go for 172 cm Divus
For all mountain slopes racing
Maybe even 167 cm depending on your weight. If you're a lighter skier, you don't need to go that long.
