the owner looks like the happiest adult kid ever
he finally get his dream studio
this place is incredible
amen , dream on
Robert is definitely a happy guy these days! Appreciate you watching!
My God this is unreal! “Rival anything in Nashville” lol, dude this is world class! It doesn’t get better than this! 180 screenshots for my collection, haha. Thank you Haverstick design!
It really is something else! Thanks again for watching.
WOW! My brother is your neighbor (we both play guitar). I was there in July and he told me you had a studio in your house, but I had NO IDEA how amazing it was! Rock on!
Small world! I hope you get a chance to record there someday!
Excellent work Gavin! Another amazing project with crazy attention to detail. Every project you do I learn about something I hadn't thought of for my studio. Keep up the awesome work!
Really appreciate the kind words!
Amazing! Very inspiring
Appreciate that!
Amazing "basement" studio!
You definitely forget you are underground when in this space.
@@haverstickdesigns I've seen commercial studios that aren't that cool!
Sounds like an awesomely satisfying accomplishment I'm halfway through the conversation and I'm hoping there's going to be something about and then this band came in and we made this awesome record
I can almost imagine all of the processes and tests and things that you've done to come up with what you have incredible
It is quite the process, for sure! Thanks for watching the video and the comments!
I doubt there will ever be another Studio built like this one. Today's musicians go straight to the interface and then listen to the music I have nothing compared to this guy but I can go live in the headphones with everybody in the room to RUclips or Facebook with a digital drum set
Those Neve beauties!
👀👀👀
Your studio seems ready to capture the moment and the performance and the feeling and then work out the mix I can't do that I have to make everything just so beforehand
What an awesome video I hope you guys can turn this little group into a good business
My God the awesomest video would be a comparison between your studio and my studio because I made no compromises either in the gear but everything is super stripped down and straight to the four-channel interface then to the monitors
Wow. I'm in Louisville too. Had no idea there was a studio like this in town. I'd love to have a chance to record there. I have some great gear (BAE, Chandler etc) but not in that quantity. And such cool space
Robert's contact info is in the description if you wanted to reach out. Thanks for watching!
Wonderful. My home studio is 8x9ft. It's like a padded cell.
Appreciate you watching the video!
@@oinkooink Well, at least you have a place to scream when you're having a bad day! 😜😜😜
insane
Right? It really is something else!
Lets go Chris K!
There's such a difference between me having to set everything up and push all the buttons and get everything right and do a good performance and me just have to do a good performance
wow cool
Thanks for watching the video!
Incredible room!!! Console choice is questionable.
I would love to show people the difference between trying to do it all yourself at home and paying a professional to help you in a real Studio
Great 😊❤
Thanks for taking time to watch!
My Lord...
If I sent you a song just me and my acoustic guitar with the best recording I could do if you liked it would you possibly improve upon it and make a video while we do it
You see how making a video requires twice the skills of making a record
we got all these great studios, but are song-writers and artists making any money?
I just heard something that goes to anyone in any Studio the Mike's you got a little bit too close to his mic and they weren't timeline just perfect and it sounded a little funny for a second that's something that has nothing to do with the studio but with the engineer
How do you use your germanium compressors?
Spoke with Robert and Chris and they said that they love them on drums and bass as a parallel compression path. They are also excellent on acoustic guitars. Thanks for watching the video!
Maybe I missed it in the video but, what console is that?
The console is a 2015 MIDAS Siena 480 that was made in England. Super clean and pure. : )
id love to know the total cost of this build with all the studio gear
$500k? ... probably more
Is It a standing control Room ? Struggling with esthetic for sure … louder than the Music Perhaps ..
There it goes again one of the guys got too close to the other guy's Mike
Hardly anyone understands why someone would build such an awesome Studio I hope that he will teach some young kids to run it rather than just accept money from older cats that might want a little something done but I'd love to see someone that comes from a 57 and a budget interface and a modeler come to the studio and see what they could do with some real stuff oh yeah and with someone else pushing the buttons instead of me having to push the buttons and play the music
Amazing studio- terrible terrible colour palette
