Just passed my test today and this video played a very pivotal role in it. I thought you would have to park once so I was scared I might not get it right the first time. Thank you for sharing this information that you could move in and out till you get it. ❤
I have watched numerous driving channels, most of which have over 50,000 subscribers, but I wish I had came across your channel sooner. Very clear, calm, instructions and information which has really helped me with my forthcoming test.
Wow thank you very much, I pass my test yesterday which is 24/6/21 in my first attempt with only 1 minor god bless you sir, with your calm explanation 😊
Great Video, providing excellent, well-explained tips. I really like how it tries to transform the more stressful parts of the test into an opportunity to relax and also to take the time to get it done properly without rushing.
Wow! for the reverse bay parking I never knew you could use method 3- it’s amazing what a helpful top tip! and the examiners don’t mind it? best channel so helpful
Thanks for the great feedback. You can absolutely choose the method you use to reverse bay park. You can apply that to all the manoeuvres! As long as you complete the manoeuvre safely do it how you prefer
You're amazing instructor! Your video is so much clear to understand. Thank you so much for your clip!!! Please keep doing what you are doing as you are just creating for it! Amazing person at the right place! Love it!!!
Finally a clear instructional video on what is required on manoeuvres. I'm an American taking my test tomorrow and this is exactly what I needed. Thanks so much
Hi John, thanks for the feedback. If you have any questions about the test don’t hesitate to drop me a message. All the best for your sons test in January
Thank you so much for this well informative video of maneuvers. The best video i’ve ever watched about maneuvers. This would be a big help for my up coming test on monday December of 21st.
This video is so much easier to comprehend I liked how you took your time and a 30 minute video on the types of manoeuvres. The other videos with about a million views are so so fast with it that’s it’s not clear to understand
I am very sceptical about using reference points as you describe. The reason is simple, not all vehicles are the same, regardless of your experience only driving vehicles that do match. My child could not manover any of my vehicles using the same methods you teach as the proportions are different. A pickup, Defender 110 and a Ducato LWB are the vehicles they have to drive but I had to teach them after they passed their test. Teaching spacial awareness of any vehicle is far better and far more transferrable than a "driving by numbers" technique that only teaches how to pass a test or on a very similar vehicle. We found a different instructor for the next child who was able to then drive all the vehicles with minimal help and practice in the Defender before the test.
Thanks for the video, very clear and precise explanations. I would like to ask if you could use your mirrors when reversing to look around without turning your head or body all the time.
Thanku so much for this in depth video. I recently failed my driving test on parallel parking This video is slow detailed & done the way my instructor teaches it! My issue is my nerves take over. On mock test my speed was too fast & on practical it was parallel parking! I just go into panic mode 🙄😷
@@aliciakiernan7372 omg same. I have to explain to every teacher I meet that my name isn’t Alisha 😭. Well done on passing. I’m getting ready to do mine now hope I get the same result 🤞
While bay parking, can we park as we like as long as its safe and car well parked. I use 3 point turn method to park perfectly. Or do i have to reverse park in one move.
Hi, yes unfortunately I’ve not posted anything in a while. Since returning to work from lockdown I’ve been working 6 and sometimes 7 days a week so have very little time to upload anything
Hi Janet, many thanks for your very nice comment. I guess there’s no ‘right way’. It’s more to do with having car control at all times. In terms of the test, the examiner marks on how well you are controlling the car during the drive and manoeuvre
Let’s say your approaching a T junction and your turning right and there’s not car coming from the right but there’s a car coming from your left side, so you processed to go forward into the middle of the road and then wait till the car on your left pass before joining or do you stay exactly where you are until there’s no car coming from either ways
Thanks for the video. You did not use the indicators to indicate which way you are driving. I believe this is mandatory so that the cars behind you know what you will be doing. Isn’t it mandatory? Or is it optional to use the blinkers or indicators?
go to the examiner and ask direct think that’s the best place to enquire . But this will only be used to shorten the backlog so you need to be quick. hope that helps
Aa the pull over to the right and reverse 2 car lengths isn't classed as parking does that mean once we pull over and stop we don't put our car into park and wait for duther instructions before reversing back or do we still do that while waiting for the examiner to tell us that?
Hi. This video is really helpful. Can you please make a video on how to deal with big roundabouts ASAP please. My test is next Tuesday. Can you please do that before that day? Thanks..
i failed yesterday with reverse back two car lengths (i know it’s meant to be the easiest one to get but it’s probably the one i struggle most with) she got me to do it on a downwards facing hill which i’ve never reversed on anything other than level ground and it was on a road that wasn’t clear, mind just went completely blank honestly would’ve rather have got parallel park
Oh no, sorry to hear that. It can happen that examiners use different conditions when carrying out the manoeuvres. Plus it sounds like the test got the better and the nerves kicked in which couldn’t have helped
Thanks very much I kw lot More now I was thinking I only get to do it One time reverse 🅿️ Bay parking no I kw u can fix it thanks very much for telling in more detail God bless
Wow you really explained it so well! I have taken it all in I was very unsure. Im just a bit unsure on the KEY observation looking over right shoulder when do I need to appku this Thanks in advance
Hi, thanks for your message. Blind spot checks need to be done prior to moving off from a parked position and also following an emergency stop. You may want to do a right blind spot check when joining dual carriageways and eventually motorways. Hope this helps!
I couldn't get it when you reverse parked as you were in the middle of the road what if there is white line between the road can you still be in the middle of the road when reversing.
Hi can you please tell me during the driving test. For reverse bay parking can we park the car with 45° technique ? Because for 45° degree technique we need to move forward before reverse tue car in parking.
You are welcome. Good luck with your test and if you’ve got any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask. If you could pass on my channel to your friends and family to subscribe that would be of great support
Can you just confirm as I have been told that I have to leave a gap when Parallel parking so that no car can park inbetween me and the car I'm doing the parallel park with? As you have said you reverse back roughly 2 car lengths did I get that right?
Hi, just to confirm, the examiner will give you the instruction that you can leave up to 2 car lengths between you and the target car you are reversing around. You don’t need to leave that much space but you want to leave enough room that when the manoeuvre is completed it’s easy for you to move off. Does that answer your question?
Hi just wanting to know what one revolution is ..As on the parallel park i got shown the same way but got told to only turn the tearing wheel half a turn
