Your work is amazing!! The paintings of the woman in the water (Ophelia??) and the woman pouring water look like Old Masters, and the couple dancing is absolutely beautiful, despite the inspiration (I also suffer from deep bouts of depression). My compliments to you and the artists you've featured.
Even before AI, computers have begun to trivialized the visual image. In NYC, in the 80's, I saw artists lugging around their portfolios to compete with artists who were using Photoshop. They were competing to serve corporations or commerce.
AI can imitate but not originate the darker depths of the human mind, or maybe the relationship between an alienated individual and a nurturing or repressive culture. What difference would that make to an AI entity?
In the 1850's artists were in a panic over the invention of the camera and yet it gave rise to the impressionists, cubists and modern art. I guess I view artistic expression as literature.

this series is what inspires me to take a more experimental turn on my own art. its also very cool to see what other people create due to their own creativity or past, some of it makes me morbidly curious about the creator and makes me want to get to know the one responsible for such jaw dropping pieces.

I'm told that the way to go is Instagram but as a total technophobe, what i need is a manager. I'm disabled retired struggling self taught realistic painter in oil and watercolour. So great to have another brilliant installment of this series. You always gift us with such darkly diverse and inspiring art by some really astonding artists. I love that a lot of the artists you showcase are self taught (as I myself am) which always makes there work even more remarkable and a more relatable edge. All the art in this installment is really emotive. I love how the darker side of living with mental health finds a visual language in the work of this amazing artists, these videos are really engaging in a deeply vicseral and achingly human way. I really hope that in the future you find a way to hold and curate an actual exhibition of the artists you bring to us in these videos. The gfact you are a painter yourself always means you se the art in a really unique way, seeing it through your own artist's eyes. Can't wait for the next installment of this creatively dark beauty.(matt)

@Ashly, The Artist symbols have multiple meanings, I hate to break it too u but it's more than just a upside down cross, it's a whole ideology that the first 2 artists CLEARLY states. They define there art using leftist terms and thought patterns. I don't think they are Christians bro 😂 that much is clear. Point is the swastika also has multiple meanings as do all images. Btw that whole explanation u made is the one made by rappers who use the symbol.......and 666 and everything evil with it.
