    i have the opposite problem where when i wake up during REM and try to go back to sleep and focus on the images behind my eyes i fall asleep too fast and completely lose what i was doing.

      Tipharot I think is like that..if you already slept for 6,7 or more hours you dont need to keep youre self awake to much,cos you slept already and you will be not so tired anymore if you wait for to long(like 20-30 min) but if you wake for example 4,5 hours of sleep and want to LD than maybe you should stay a little longer cos you are still tired and you can fall a sleep to fast😊..thats my observation and experience..usually I just sleep 6 hours and then go for longer REM and try to not wake my self too much..it always depends on how much and what was the qualety of sleep before atempting LD and Iam just listening to my body clock☺

    If you use an app to write down your dreams, then I suggest using the yellow light on the display to aviod looking at blue light.
    Also, wear sunglasses while doing so, to minimize the amount of light coming in your eyes.
    But the best tip would be to voice record your dreams in bed on your phone, you can do that with your eyes closed.

    Had my first lucid dream last night after unintentionally following WILD when I woke up. The thing that surprised me most was that after I woke up it just felt like any other dream, even though I KNOW I was lucid. Now I'm questioning myself if it even happened!

    I tried MILD. I woke up 2 hours before the alarm rang, and it took me about 10 minutes to go back to sleep. When the alarm rang, about the same thing happened, and when I fell asleep i wasn’t in REM anymore and I had no lucid dreams that night.

    I was having trouble falling back asleep for WBTB and I ended up fazing right into a dream where I was trying to fall asleep for a lucid dream in a McDonald's. I tried and failed to fall asleep in the dream. I woke up 30 minutes later and felt like I was just opening my eyes after failing to fall asleep. It took me a bit to realize that I had a dream, but my desperation in trying to go to sleep outweighed my intention to have a lucid dream.

      Just try to stay as calm as possible. another thing that I do when I used to get excited was when you're lucid or conscious and you feel you're gonna wake up try spinning inside the dream and I really dont know why but it just makes you stay lucid its really cool :) Good luck -Jordan

    Please with hypnagogic imagery I always get tricked into sleeping because it's hard to differentiate between something you are imagining and if you are actually dreaming. Also it's hard to see if it's a dream cos it's quite blurry. So my question is is there a particular time during hynagogic imagery where you enter a vivid lucid dream and what is the best time to try hypnagogic imagery. I know this is kind of confusing to read but please help...

  • @carlosvergesbeguer3807
    @carlosvergesbeguer3807 7 лет назад

    Thanks for the tips and thanks for all the videos! After watching them for a month or so and following the methods I finally had my first lucid dream three days ago. I haven't had more lucid dreams since then but still my dreams are more clear and vivid. So now I wonder: Will I have more lucid dreams from now on or will it be the same? My dreams are getting clearer and more real everyday (with some exceptions of course) but I want to lucid dream more commonly. What was your experience? Once you had your first lucid dreams the other ones followed or it was a hard process? Thanks!

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад +1

      The more lucid dreams you have, the easier it gets. That's partly why I believe I was successful so quickly when I first tried to lucid dream myself - I tried MILD and succeeded on the second night I tried, which is a lot quicker than it seems most people do. Yet for me I had a unique situation: I'd already been lucid around 7-9 times before naturally over the course of the previous year or two. So yes, having had a few lucid dreams already definitely makes the process easier - and it will only continue to get easier as the years go by.

    • @Tipharot
      @Tipharot  7 лет назад

      I rarely visualise my dream when doing MILD anymore because usually MILD is my backup step, i.e. I try WILD first and if that fails I do MILD, or alternatively I do MILD because I'm too tired to do any other technique (in which case I'm too lazy to visualise ;))
