Thankyou I am picking up tips for what I want to do for my pictures / frames and this has helped me a lot. I have tried mitres before on my sliding mitre saw, but I haven't been happy with my results, although I have taken great care both with the 45* cuts and equal opposite lengths...... BUT I haven't tried pocket holes. This I will definitely try DV. Thankyou once again.
one day I will make this photo frame for my picture. your painting very nice. can you give me some knowledge about photo framing. I want open my own wood work shop.
I honestly thought it will be a lot easier. But I must get to know how to handyman myself. I’m not paying $500 for a large picture frame. I can get tools to make frames de rest of my live for a $100 investment. Thanks for the posting.
Nice job mate. 👍🏿 I've been thinking about getting the pocket hole you used. Instead of the pricey blue one. You didn't seem to have any problems with it. So I'm in. That's again. Great video and tip(without saying a word)
+Joseph Luis I just drill holes in the back to accept screw heads or whatever you have on the back. Them cut a little notch on the top of the holes so when I drop the picture it locks in place by its own weight. And if you want to remove it just have to lift a bit and then pull out from the wall
I usually use my pneumatic stapler and lower the air pressure. Staple goes in half way. Secure enough to not fall out but flexible enough to bend if you need to remove/replace the picture.
that frame is way to wide for my taste, i like mine about 2 inches wide but good idea cutting the wood in pairs at the same time. I think that will solve my problem of the corners not lining up perfectly.
+Victoria Park equipment and tools doesn't matter. I just happen to love buying tools and have a lot. You can get same result with a hand saw, chisel and screwdriver 😃😃😃😃
A chop saw is $40 at harbor freight or Walmart. Sandpaper is two bucks. A hand held router is $35 you can use finishing nails for about 8 cents so a kreg joint isn't required. Nowhere near a thousand.
Thanks for explaining what you used or doing

Whats the name of the tool you used to make the pocket in the wood?
Pocket hole jig. I used the cheaper version from harbor freight tool s
would u recommend a biscuit jointer for the corners?
Not at all , pocket screws are plenty strong and much faster and easier to do.
leuk en het ziet er stevig uit
What router bit did you use to insert the glass on to?
+James Neal 1/2 inch
Nowwww how do you do this without a machine?! 😅
You can do everything by hand. It's just going to take little longer and you have to be very precise with the cuts

Apprentice school?
What was used on the back to hold the picture in the frame? I think I see some little metal rods sticking out or something.
