I want them to come to Maryland St Mary’s it’s more watermen than yachts but you all are awesome I guarantee safety I’ll sleep on the dock with a 20 gauge
I really like seeing a layout with the ensuite acting as a buffer between the owner's suite and the engine room. Helps cut down the noise of the generators at night.
This was a gorgeous boat! I loved all the space in the cabins! The galley and the fly bridge were awesome! The real staircases were very nice. The boat is the most accessible I have seen.
Another thing I like about this yacht is the very high transom, which helps keep the main deck aft dry and makes navigating a little safer in a rough, following sea.
The woodwork is beautiful on the interior what an amazing boat ❤ your videos are something I look forward to every week. The walkthroughs are second to none. Informative yet somehow feel personal.
@@NautiStyles Yeah I've done a bit of finish carpentry in my house, basic stuff like door frames, baseboards and window sills. People don't realize that doing curves with woodwork is an art, combined with a bit of sorcery. You gotta be REALLY DAMN GOOD and it takes a ton of special/expensive tools. You have to steam the wood for example, that's way beyond any decent carpenter's skill set.
I can't help but compare this yacht to the 90 foot Cheoy Lee that is one of your most popular reviews. This yacht has all the utility of the older boat except no fishing cockpit. It is almost twice as fast, and that air conditioned flybridge looks like party central to me! The separate VIP forward really adds to the versatility. It would make a great cabin for a live aboard captain. A quick trip to the shipyard for some refreshing, and its look out Caribbean! 😃
Apart from the nice boats, most guys watch this channel just to see Victoria, and in this episode she is looking particularly FINE. thanks Vic and Rico 😍
Let me first say you both are wonderful and extremely exciting to watch. Also, I wanted to say the yacht or vessel plan set up is awesome and lastly, I enjoyed the video altogether.❤️🇺🇸😃
Great classic Cheoy Lee. I believe this model may have been designed by naval architect Tom Fexas -- the sharp, fine bow and high cruising speed were traits of many of his designs. Very nice layout but shows it age by lack of a good social area in the bow and by the dark woodwork. The only area of concern is the engine room -- those generators look really tough to service, they are jammed between the Cats and the hull. Thanks for a thorough, informed tour.
Cheoy Lee has an amazing history. Originally designed merchant sailing vessels to outrun the Japanese blockade during WW 2... Their sailing vessels are extremely quick and responsive... still family owned to this day..
Older than even that. Started in the 1890’s, has built everything from tugs, ferries, cargo vessels, sailboats and super yachts. As, you say, still family run. They were high quality builders, (mine has monel piping in the engine room for example) and were very early adopters of fiberglass as a building material. I have a Tom Fexas designed 52’ Efficient model which I have run all around the Us East Coast, Gulf of Mexico and Bahamas. Very similar to the Bravo only smaller and slower. 😢 I am looking to upgrade hopefully soon. I am thinking Bering is the ‘new’ Cheoy Lee and am leaning towards that brand for my next boat.
Classic style, features, and design. A very inviting yacht to consider for a live on board. Two big cats give you speed if you need it and range to enjoy.
Definitely an awesome liveaboard yacht 😍. Luv the separate head in the owner's cabin. I think the yacht should be named Storage, 'cause there is so much storage 😁and so many places to hang out. Awesome yacht. 👍👍
Cheoy Lee yachts are always sooooo well built, laid out and simply gorgeous. They build the interiors like a stately home. Warm, flowing and comfortable What a gem...❤❤❤ Very very nice Thank you both 🎉🎉
Thanks for another fun tour! I have to say, this one is well-proportioned for the practical use-spaces, without too many redundant coctail-party rooms. It's actually like an actual house in that way. That flow-through living/dining room combo salon feels like a nice casual hang-out space more than most boats. I'm still getting used to forward galley layouts, but for long trips it could be a good way for folks to have a hangout together when someone has to be stuck monitoring the helm.
the lay out of this one is great some of the other I do not like so much but the Cheoy Lee is well thought out for livable space. top 5 on live arbored thanks for sharing.
One of the biggest things Cheoy Lee does that I like is put interior staircases in, and not just almost vertical ladders, but comfortable, walkable, stable access that still feel secure in rough weather. They really do make some gorgeous boats.
I would have to replace that outside TV imminently, even watching this it kicked my OCD off it having that white frame with the bottom cut out and with it not being a rectangle, but great little yacht.
I agree about the change to a separate washer and dryer set up in the crew quarters area. The forward berth was my favorite. To my horror I saw a lack of coffee pots on the boat. 😱 This is a nice boat.
The silhouette is exactly what a child would draw if you asked them to draw a rich persons boat. Very nice live aboard, the interrod has not been fitted out to someone else's taste (that has none) its neutral clean and nice Great video 2x 👍
Recall, I think you are absolutely correct. That door can be used for walking in the engine room and walking out of the engine room very good Victoria give him a cookie.
Hey guys, furniture salesman here. A settee is a small bench like seat. If it has more than one cushion or multiple cushions that wrap around is a loveseat, sofa or sectional.
I love the hammered silver wash basin in the day-head, and the pewter or silver lookin bar basin in the main salon as well. The mixture of high gloss wood elements with the more modern satin finish on the vertical wooden cabinetry looks pretty. Personally, I might have switched that curved taupe sofa, for a square over-stuffed white R.H or P.B type sofa to freshen it up a lil bit, and added some bronze elements with some interesting horizontal texture, maybe around the edges of the counters or accent tables for effect. While curves radiuses are nice when you’re on the move........ They can really "date" an interior, and narrow your pool of potential buyers, if you decide to sell later on. I would imagine anyway. As always..... Love you two. Victoria, honey.... I'm living for you in that striped dress. Too friggin cute! And Rico, bruh..... You're the man.
Nice to see grey 😊 instead of them using white on the furniture, love the woodwork😊 surprise just 1 crew quarter, cute little galley, perfer a Nice Chef Galley😊 missed hearing/ seeing the distance it can travel, especially knocking it down to 9 or 10 Knotts. A question to Mr.Rico the shower in the Vip rm. Would it be hard to turn that into a shower steam room ? The first thing I thought when first seeing it with the seating, but saw the shower door knew that it wasn't. Congrats on the build stage of yours. (Yacht) 🎉🎉🎉
I think retaining the lower helm makes sense and being able to close up the controls is a great idea. It’s hard to think of something not to like on this boat, maybe a slightly different table and seat arrangement by the television. I think a nice high gloss cherry table with a detailed inlay would look great and probably fit in too. No mention of cup holders again! I think they have become so last year. This has potential as they say.
Just when I think that you guys have shown us everything. Sweet Island hopper and a great entertainment yacht. I really like the components of the engine room but I’m 6’3” 250 maintenance may be a little tricky. Still all in all really love the vessel. 🎯
The galley is almost as large as the one in our house, NOT an apartment. 🤣 My wife was listening when you you were talking about the "two person shower" and commented that your years of boat life have skewed your perceptions on space requirements 🤣
Actually, a valid point. Boat life definitely gives you a different perspective on space, mainly that you can be very happy with much less space, except for storages. One can never have too many storages!!!
WOW! That is one beautiful ship! Ship? Yes, ship, it is much too big to be called a 'boat'..Have heard(is it really an old sea mans saying?), a ship has a boat but a boat doesn't have a ship....Absolutely fantastic! The living/dining area truly superb. Such beautiful wood in there! I can go on and on as you can tell I am really infatuated with this boat!
