That bread looks and sounds incredible when you were slicing it!!!! I do something similar... and recently found a jar of Trader Joes Lemon Pesto... which I mixed in with ricotta for the spread!!! Omg... That lemon pesto is a game changer for anything! I also mixed it with mayo and garlic to top grilled asparagus. I think I could eat puppy chow on grilled bread.. haha! My mouth is watering... I must make this tonight!!!!
Made this recipe tonight with ciabatta bread I also made, and it was divine. Thanks Heather for sharing your recipe with us. A great way to use up my excess tomatoes. I'll be making this every day for lunch until my bread and/or tomatoes are gone.
Because of this video, I ran to the garden, picked some yellow pear tomatoes and small red tomatoes, used small mozzarella balls, and fresh basil. Made a delicious salad to have with bread. (I had no Boursin, or else I would have used that!)
I love grilled bread! I make a No Knead Bread that I grill... it will be perfect for this recipe! My garden tomatoes are coming on, I have a ton of herbs so this is going to be made this weekend!
Absolutely FABULOUS ‼️ The two of you are so charming and lovely to watch interact, and the recipe was wonderful, and the vibe is just so sweet… More please🫶🏽 What a blessing, thank you 🙏🏼
It’s a French soft cheese with, dried garlic, salt, white pepper, parsley, and chives. Boursin is like a delicate cream cheese. They sell different flavors but I prefer the green box. It’s my favorite cheese. I make toast, spread the cheese then add thinly sliced cucumbers and tomatoes for a sandwich.
@@dragonflyinjuly thank you so much for your reply!! The cheese you described definitely sounds like one I would like a lot, plus with the addition of cucumbers and tomatoes sounds even more delicious. 😊
I love watching your Hungry for Home videos and enjoying your beautiful yards. But I feel I need to speak up after watching you showing us recipes and giving us cooking instructions time and time again and not using or having the proper cooking utensils! I know you can afford them but my question is if you are showing the world how to cook in the kitchen then you should have a large bread knife for slicing bread (you were worn out after slicing one loaf with your small serrated knife), you mentioned your basting brush was broken because the head kept falling off, and I couldn’t tell you how many times I have watched you and your daughters stir and mix a big bowl of something using a regular tablespoon instead of a large mixing spoon!! I don’t mean to insult you but if you are instructing us on how to prepare a dish, then you should be using the proper cooking utensils. I will be looking forward to your next video.
I think you’re getting it wrong. She is not showing the world how to cook, she is showing us how she cooks for her family. Frankly not everyone has the “right” utensils for cooking at home. I love watching her because she’s not trying to be perfect…normal home but extraordinary intentional living ❤ Bless her , some of us don’t have such an example of a home.
Why do not choose an Italian cheese for this... ?? Buffalone, ricotta or others kind. Now like this it's a sort of american appetizer. Not really Italian.
They have the same look and energy. Can be sisters ! Fun and natural beauty. Thanks for sharing! 🎉
Hahaha thank you!

Does your book ship to Thailand?
Looks yummy!! 😋 Don’t believe I’ve ever tasted Boursin cheese. Will have to try it. What cheese is similar to it?

For mashed potatoes and only add milk, butter and one package of Boursin, easy and delicious!
@@Victoria48278another great sounding way to use Boursin cheese. Thank you for the suggestion, will definitely be buying some!!! 😊
YUM‼️❤️❤️❤️
YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
YUM!!!!!
Spreading the cheese on the bread would make it more guest friendly…then host could add toppings later or guests.
🥰🇨🇦
Miss Ruth, please stop interrupting your guest.
It is spelled bruschetta but we pronounce "brusketta".
That was rude! She cut her off and then cut her off again when she mentioned her friend Abby. I can’t even watch the rest.
not brushetta but bruschetta pronounced like a k. italian dish

Boursin, no thanks!!! I agree with you, or no cheese at all.
Agree. So much gorgeous cheese in the market.@@annmcevoy9299
You can definitely use any cheese you like and prefer! This recipe is completely customizable to taste :-)
