  • UNLV has lost its starting QB and RB for the season in the midst of a conference title/Playoff push--because of NIL. USC's Bear Alexander is opting out of this season as well. Can anything be done to stop in-season opt outs from taking place in college football?

Did you just say UNLV lost their starting RB? He's buried in the depth chart sitting behind a freshman and sophomore

Apologies if I had that wrong, but my take would not change. Players opting out during the season is not good for the sport

@@LockedOnCollegeFootball Michael Allen was the RB1 heading into the Kansas game, he only had one carry. That had him slide to 4th in rushing, behind the QB and two other RBs. All three RBs basically had identical stats ... 20 carries and just over 100 yards. Anyone who calls him a 4th string RB is either uninformed or they are gaslighting.

They lied to the kid and he was the starting QB and have them undefeated so far...They should have honored their commitment to this kid and anybody with a grain of common sense can see what they did...

I stop watching professional football for the holdouts overpaying a players free agency now it worked its way into college football. College are supposed to be about getting an education athletic scholarships were to help young men and women kid education they might not otherwise be able to afford now it’s a damn business at least a football side and probably basketball

If they can pay coaches 10 million to walk the side lines, they darn sure should be able to pay the product on the field...and thats' all there is to it...This pimpin these kids is over and thats' all college programs have been doing...Like it or not; college programs are nothing more than big businesses...
