- I've been wanting to make this Plague Doctor costume for a long time and IT'S FINALLY HERE! A feminine version, no less. Obviously not historically accurate, but that's not the point. This was a really fun but incredibly laborious project to complete, so please enjoy this documentation of my process. Still deciding if I want to just use this as my Halloween costume this year...

This is prefect! I was suddenly struck with the inspiration of a plague doctor, but in pink. A love plague doctor if you will diagnosing people with excess love or not enough love. But I wear glasses and will need to make my own mask to avoid that discomfort so this video was great! Everything turned out great!

I personally hate Halloween and all it stands for since I was a kid (other than the free candy, lol) but definitely greatly admire your DIY skills. You seem very much like my younger sister that way. I've always been very frugal and have found swell deals on many things in my life, but I'm not very talented or artsy. Your outfit looks so professional and expensive, seriously.
I totally understand lol, I wasn’t allowed to celebrate Halloween as a kid for religious reasons and still stay away from all the witchcraft/spiritual stuff for the same reasons. But thanks lol!

Well done Melody, this looks very cool and I need a costume like yours.
The mask seems pretty cool too but I can't imagine wearing it during warmer weather. The ending where you took it off because it was so humid I can relate.
I experienced the same thing once plus wasn't used to wearing a mask so I felt very anxious and claustrophobic.

How did you find breathing? I had previously purchased a prop mask that was great but my lenses fogged up with every breath.
Hahaha there was no breathing 🤣 got very hot and stuffy real quick
