You can stay 180 days per year.... With one only extension in the five years. So, all up, in a 5 year period you can stay 5 x 180 Days and 1 x 180 Day extension... 1080 days all up.

We’re not sure that it’s that clear from the announcement so we’re waiting for further guidance.

@@baanthaiimmigrationsolutions If it was what you are saying in this video, you would be paying more money for less time than the current visa..

DTV visa equates to 19500 baht for 5 years plus any cost of visa runs and/or at least 5 immigration visits for extensions. Marriage or retirement visa equates to 9500 baht for 5 years and no visa runs required. Considering foreigners dread Thai Immigration, they should offer the 180 day visa extensions online.

Why not wait until the actual policy is released and not just rehash what anyone can find out via a quick google search ?

It will be blocked by local offices and border run groups. Dream on though.

10k thai baht already weeded out 80% of digital nomads who are asking their parents buds for extra cash 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Do we know at this point if one can apply for this visa right after the first 180 days plus the extended 180 days, or does one have to wait (5 years?) before apply again? Thank you.

You can work remotely with earnings coming exclusively from overseas sources. Working or doing business in Thailand requires compliance with Department of Labor regulations including a work permit.
