So today we had gym and this is basically my first year in high school but I’m in 10th grade we did the whole 9th grade online so we didn’t have sports or anything but today we played and I had a mindset that I was an amazing defender I was playing good defense but the guy I was guarding had better offense and I won’t lie he dropped me on a pivot fake play and I got right back up and acted like it didn’t happen even thought ppl were saying ohh. In middle school I was always so athletic and depended on my long arms and my vertical and speed but now in high school that doesn’t matter unless you know how to use your athleticism to score the basketball. I thought I was good but now I’ve opened my eyes to see I’m pretty much just average and I need to use my god given abilities to play at my highest level I’m a skinny guy I’m 5’10 around 130 pounds and i was getting pushed around inside so now I will take my game more seriously to learn how to score the basketball so I will be prepared for anything
