No one ever brought as much love and dedication to the floor as Michael Jordan did. To me , him and Wayne Gretzky did more for their sports than any other humans alive. These 2 athletes made the impossible seem possible. They raised our level of expectations in ourselves.

His Airness had that drive that is uncomparable to that of any man past or living because of his share will. Nobody is even close. I don't wanna hear "well, what about Kobe on LeBron" nope, nope, hell NO. The comparisons to put folks on the same level as him is unfair to the game. Every player who played the game had an impact be it Wilt, Kareem, Russell, Magic, Kobe, Shaq or LeBron left their mark on the sport, but MJ solidified the game with his love, determination and drive. I'm so glad I got to see him play a few times. He was always in a class by himself.
I started my love for basketball because of MJ, as an asian girl, i told my self, i must be able to lay up like a boy..lol, when he was retired, i just can't watched NBA again. But no matter how good someone is, you must have the mentality of a winner to be great. MJ has that, in football, i see that in CR7, tho i am forever R9 lovers. The skill, the hardwork, the confidence and the mentality. Lots of great basketball player, respect a lot of them, but for me, it will always MJ, he was the one who made me fell in love with basket, always and forever, basketball for me always equal to MJ.
