Is the a difference in sizes between 4wd and 2wd as ive got one fitted it all up and now my wheel hits it and ideas it all looks the same just wondering it was as simple and one haveing a bigger ball joint
I’m not too sure there, it’s the part listed for a 2wd van & I haven’t had any issues with wheel clearance. I don’t imagine it would cause rubbing, but is the shaft for the two main bolts the right way around, not spun 180 degrees?
Just checked the clearance on my van, and there’s approximately 12 or so mm of clearance between the wheel and the closest part of the ball joint, as the car sits naturally. I suspect that would get closer with downward travel, but it certainly doesn’t bind up at all.
That's a great tutorial, thanks mate. I've done this job on the same model van and oh boy, those inner bolts are a pain for sure.
Cheers! Yep, difficult without the right tools!
Well handy thanks buddy 👍
No problems, thanks for the comment!
