Makita DHR182/XRH12: good for bolting rock climbs?

  • Makita DHR182 aka XRH12 is one of my favourites! It's light, powerful and gets great mileage. 18mm capacity means it can handle some pretty big holes, but if you're drilling that size regularly I'd go a bigger tool.
