Leave the black handle up when draining because when you drain and poke the sediment through it goes in through the fill port that’s open into the pump lines and WILL clog up the quick connect for the hose on the front restricting all flow and even making it spray oil towards you when pumping
You skipped the brushing of the heating elements all around and in between, very important because they collect a coating of burnt stuff Al over, but it’s a great video, you covered a lot the important things on how to do it

I have a question, what if after doing the filter lockout procedure, and pumping the oil back up, the machine still says filter lockout after?? Any tips on how to fix that?
There's a sensor behind the lever that doesn't detect the open And close position. Normally Because it's full of grease buildup. A henny penny tech would have to change it out.
he is doing it all wrong. he suppose to for first step turn it off step two grab your brush and brush the cord while the oil still in the pot step three release the oil step four hook up the hose to get clean it lot better step five pump up the hose
