Sat here in my office chair leaning into every corner. Great driving and the comments really make it more involved. Stunned you don't have more subscribers
@@Hole_Motorsports the parity between cars is the best it has ever been. it is much more about the quality of the motor and general build of the car, than which car you choose. the only exception would be the 1.6, which is the fastest car on the west coast with tight tracks and less weight, but it would struggle on faster 5th gear tracks out east. I am running a competitive NA8 for the NASA championships this year, so we will see!
Matt, once again I loved you video, every lap, every comment! Well done and nicely driven in the land of the Last Remaining NA's! interesting, from what I observed further up in the field ahead of you, that there is almost ZERO dragging the brake to create a bump draft pair that works together, something that is so much part of our racing scene here in the East. Is that not a normal thing on the West Coast?
Thanks Danny! NA8's are my favorite car to drive. And correct, our straightaways aren't quite long enough to justify it, and with this many fast NA's people are understandably more focused on not heatsoaking and getting clean air when possible
Great racing and great racecraft.
The commentary is the best part for those of us still learning. Ty
Thanks Matt for another master class! The commentary is super valuable. I'm going to watch this like 5 times in a row before my next THill race :)
The random Bimmer popping out of nowhere killed me LOL 22:50

thanks!!
Great race! enjoyed the commentary a lot!
thanks!
Loved watching this race, didnt skip ahead at all
glad you enjoyed it! check out the daytona video if you haven't already, even better than this one!
These videos are selling me on SM! Love the commentary on the decision making as well. Only question is NA8 or NB1
NA8 is my favorite generation to drive, but NB1 is nice with OBD2 simplicity, and generally a bit more predictable to drive at the limit !
@@MattCresciRacing do you think the NA8 can be competitive? Seems like just about all the front runners in NASA and SCCA run NB1s

@@MattCresciRacing awesome really appreciate the insight! Sounds like I just need to get the best car I can afford
@@MattCresciRacingupdate, I just picked up an NA8. Pumped to get it out on track!
Great commentary!
thanks Chris heal up and get out to the races with us!
Love the commentary.
Coming through ….
Clean racing, loved your commentary
Great race ! Very entertaining, you fight. Do you think that old BP engines are more reliable than modern ND engines ? (i own a 1.8 1994 Miata)
They are both great engines, but yes the BP engines are bulletproof
it's crazy how consistently you lose people in T9. Great stuff!

Amazing race!! Loved every minute!! One question please, What does the "A" stand for on the windshield? Cant wait for the next video!!
thanks! "A" is just a leftover sticker from a test day run group before the race weekend
What lap times are you guys running in this class at thill?
Pole on bypass is typically 2:05 range, race pace closer to high 2:06 low 2:07 for leaders
@@MattCresciRacing Pretty damn good for a NA miata
