I couldn’t tell if this is a race or hpde. But whoever you’re driving with, I love that they didn’t cone off the triangle btwn pit entry and the front straight. When I first started driving thunderhill (2002) nobody did that but these days almost everyone does.
Just had my first track day here, and you’re doing everyone the coach asked me to do. How’d you manage to find that point right before you lose traction, but the cars still sliding? Good run man
This guy has been driving this S for years, you just gotta get that seat time to learn your car to know how it reacts. Sometimes you don’t know when it starts sliding, but it’s just like a sixth sense, you’re ready to counter the oversteer or slide.
To me, it appears he’s reaching ~132MPH at the end of the start/finish straight, ~110+ MPH thru turn 8(!), ~120+ MPH into T10, a bit quicker into T14. This is all based off of the speedometer; not sure of the accuracy because i don’t know if there’s any change in wheel diameter compared to stock. Also, knowing gear ratios might give you a bit more accuracy since he does hit the rev limiter on the start of the 2nd lap.
I've lapped T-hill thousands of times, and I have neither the skills nor the balls to do it like that. Question: Your steering inputs looked really large to me. Was the car pushing?
After driving this track, this lap is absolutely insane. You’re wild dude, I aspire 🎉
Man,this thing RIPS!!Great driving,thumbs up.
Thanks
Gary, what a beast!!! Nicely done 😎👍🏿
Thanks Aseda 👍
Sick laps!
Damn that is a strong F22 with the 4.44. I wish my AP1 pulled like this.
Crazy good laps!
Thanks Andrew!
That's impressive watching you in 3!

Everyone else: Don't change gears mid-corner
Gary: *downshifts to 4th while sliding in T2*
Doing that either because 4th would be too fast and he’d slide or to have high rpm out of the corner
I'd still call that coner entry. He's still braking, t2 is interesting in that way.
Great driving. Can you tell me more about the car? AP1 or AP2? Mods?

Hey how fast is Gary going? I can't tell because the only digit I see on the dash is "1".

Nice Gary - is this on the Nankangs?
I'm on maxxis rc1 275-35-17
Watching this makes me feel like such a wuss in my c7 z06 doing 1;58’s 😂

Yowza! NA or FI? Speedo accurate?
It is NA, speedo is slightly off
Two people are mad that Gary is faster than they are.
Lol yea, I wondered
@@ElitePerformanceRacing Also I'm stealing this video to post on the FS page, if that's cool!
@@NikRomanoRacing of course it's cool. 👍
