For a short Small City Island getaway, we had an amazing experience at Harris Resort Waterfront Batam. This amazing family getaway was also to celebrate Dani’s birthday.
Harris Resort Waterfront Batam is just a short ferry ride from Singapore and in just a couple of hours, we found ourselves awed by this resort.
The room we stayed at Harris Resort was a family room and it had access to the pool, which made it convenient for the family. We fell in love with the size of the room and how spacious it was.
A double decker bunk bed was also in the family room which provided a great sleeping arrangement for the two boys. They were so thrilled by the bunk bed and truly enjoyed it, making this an amazing family getaway for them.
But what truly capture our hearts were the very people running the resort. Every single staff that we came across will always have a big smile on their face. They were friendly, approachable and were out to make your stay in Harris Resort an amazing one.
One of the thing that you should not miss in Harris Waterfront Resort Batam would be the sunset. It is amazing! We were lucky that it was a clear evening and we caught the sunset over Harris Resort in its full glory.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Mia and April for making our stay in Harris Waterfront to be an amazing family getaway. You guys have made us feel like we were among friends and families.

You are most welcome Salimah. It is definitely a great place to have a break especially with the great staff running the resort. Even the kids were happy being there and now kept asking to go back there again. Hehe.
Do they have a private beach? how is the beach in terms of cleanliness and quality of sand?

Oh wow! The last time I came here like few yrs ago and I think they still doing renovation or something cause that one night there's a blackout for like 20 mins?? My god.. but overall it was quite nice lah actually the place 😊
The renovation has all been settled and it is just a fantastic getaway place now 😃

Hi. I just realised that the shuttle service is actually from waterfront terminal and not sekupang. How did you get from sekupang to the resort?
We took a taxi from sekupang terminal to the resort. The fare was 100,000 Rupiah. They do have shuttle to sekupang but it is during the weekend, we were told when we were going back.

Assalamualaikum Brother, I am faizal from Sg, planning to go to Harris Resort Waterfront this June with my wife and 3 kids.
I have few questions to ask..if u dont mind helping me..
I booked the family room at booking.com, but according to the site, breakfast is only for 2 adults and complimentary for kids below 11 years old, my daughter is 13 this year, so her breakfast do we need to pay every morning?
Next question is, which ferry terminal should i go to, and how do i travel(the best way) from ferry terminal to the resort?..

Waalaikummusalam Brother.
Yup brother, for your daughter, you will need to pay for her breakfast every morning.
The nearest ferry terminal is Waterfront. Only Sindo Ferry goes to Waterfront Ferry Terminal. As for getting to the resort, there is shuttle bus from the terminal. If not, then you will need to take taxi. You can email the resort to get the shuttle bus schedule for the day you arrive.

At the ferry terminal, there will be a taxi stand. The taxi drivers will always be standing around looking for passengers.

Salam bro. What comes to mind is either the Buffet at Straits Cafe in Rendezvous Hotel or Carousel at Royal Plaza hotel. They are fantastic.
