What a bore! I dont mean that literally, because I am not expecting amusement. I mean that this is a classic case of Kenya "glorifying mediocrity". KANU is mediocre. This man is the equivalentnof any college student government leader in the average Western university. It is just that Kenyan colleges and their student leadership have become so mediocre - because of the Moi Regime, that people like him are running legislative and policy of a national party. Compare him with Tom Mboya inbthe 1960s or even Mwai Kibaki in the 60s! We have fallen far and deep. No Nyerere's, no Cabral's, no Samora Macel's no Nkurumah's in the 21st...just pseudo-immitators of received "wisdom" from so-called mature (but really, decaying) Western democracies. Talking the talk is the Luo trademark.
