  • Poised to take center stage as he fuses together his background in rock, gospel, jazz, R&B, blues, and funk to create an original sound with an unmistakable dose of soul, Isaiah's First Digital Album is Now Available. Check out his debut release entitled Love.Life.Live. Click here for details: bit.ly/2zLur3p
Here, Isaiah reminisces about his time working with the great Chalmers "Spanky" Alford, and how borrowed concepts (such as the Gospel Vamp) have given him new paths to explore as a musician.

RICH like being home on the holidays with everyone you love. Like eating too much birthday cake. His playing and the gear sound like how my mom's cooking tastes!

Saw him with John Mayer in 2019 - literally had tears in my eyes when he played his solo - I can honestly say it was historic guitar playing! Thanks Isaiah - for everything!

Steve Rosebud idk he’s been around with D’angelo and some other groups but he’s still pretty young. I guess because he comes from gospel groups. He’s well known to them. I came across him before Mayer and found him on someone’s Facebook. And I had no idea who he was but I was like who is that? Next thing I see him on stage with John Mayer. Although, I know him now thx to John Mayer. You should check out his rendition of Eric Clapton’s Sunshine of Your Love. I’ll see if I can find it and copy paste it for you. instagram.com/p/BLJNZExBsLX/?igshid=qulpk5m7xnwl that’s from his Instagram page. Couldn’t find it anymore on utube.

The numbers refer to notes in a scale cause there are seven notes in the major or natural minor scale. For that riff in E he was demonstrating when he mentioned it, you can think of the open 6 string as 1, the fourth fret of the 6 string as 3, the second fret of the 5 string as 5, and the fourth fret of the 5 string as 6. So in E major, E=1, F#=2, G#=3, A=4, B=5, C#=6, D#=7.
