I think you can plug your amp to your pc, you just need an adapter for the headphones entrance (the cable is too big) and then connect it to the mic entrance in your pc

I know this is a late reply, but he s most likely using an interface to plug his guitar into the PC via usb. Google "Toneport UX2," he uses something like that and then records the guitar through a DAW (Ableton, Fruity Loops, etc.).
