Great interview. Jimmy is one hell of a yachtsman, he's smart, entertaining when stirs up his competition and surprisingly - also humble. The sport is lucky to have him involved!
Aussie in Canada here. Def cheering for Italy! 🎉 Jimmy is a legend. 🇮🇹🇦🇺🇨🇦
Jimmy one of us ❤ 🇮🇹
Definitely in conversation of the greatest skipper of all time.
Fantastico!! ❤ Love From Canada 😊❤😊
E ancora tanto buon vento!!! Bravissimi!!❤
Tremendous! Didn’t like him much after 2013, but I have huge respect for him as a sailor
I'm so impressed with this guy, his attitude, focus, winning mentality and calm persona. I'd love to learn from him how he developed that attitude, as from memory he wasn't always that way. Has he done a podcast or written a book?
Legend!!
WHAT A HELL OF SPORT'S MAN WOW 💪💪👏👏👏👏⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
Avanti Luna Rossa!!!!
Great Man
Superb
Buon vento James!
Jimmy, you’re the best 😈
Giacomino Sputacolline facci sognare!!!!
all's fair in love and war
Obviously the author(s) of this video didn't want anyone to hear what Spithill had to say, because the music is too bloody loud!
A View from the UK. Forgive me if i am wrong but i thought the whole crew of a countries boat must be residents of that country, you know, passport holders. Where's Spithill from?
& Then there were two...It wasn't hard to
see who was goin thru to the challenger
finals. The LV prelims showed, Ineos &
Luna stood out, aside from team NZ.
For those that fell away, theres lessons
that'll need learning if they intend to be
taken seriously. Frances late entry into
the AC & everything that happened after
that, seemed like they weren't goin 4wds
but backwards. They'll need to be onto it
if theres a 'next time'. Alinghi were also a
team that seemed to go from hot to cold.
They did good in the LV cup but come the
challenger series?. It looked more like the
battle was with themselves?!. The Swiss
will have to 'get it together' if they intend
to be competitive. Then theres American
Magic, a crew made-up of Aussies, Poms
& whoever else was 'doin nothin'?!. Surely,
after owning the 100 guinea cup that long,
one would think local interest is huge?!
When NZ won AC35 at Bermuda,Spitalls 'rub'
about an Aussie (Ashby) being on board NZs
boat, was a 'dig' at the Kiwis maybe needing
an Aussie to help win it !.So maybe someone
should ask Bruni if an Aussie on Luna is why
they lost in Auckland?!. Anyways, I digress.
It's time to 'nationalise' crews to boats.
We need to go back to the rule stating every team member must be a citizen of the host country. Jimmy is an AUSTRALIAN, He has sailed for the USA, New Zealand, and now Italy. Shame.
so also the owners and sponsors BMW, Emirates, or Red Bull?
That is the rule.
@@julian4548 NZ made them, and they are competing in Spain?
Mitre 10 Team New Zealand doesn’t sound that bad
Every body wants Jim because he is such a pro ⛵ nothing to do with nationality
