And mentally tough as well. Reminds me of a slightly aggressive version of djokovic. Although he has far less variety.
Nicolas Whitehouse The problem with Sinner is exactly his short points game. He has a very bad 1-2 combo, something that Nadal is amazing at. When Sinner pushes someone out of the court with a serve, he can’t hit a winner right away and has to start a rally.
Patrick yeah even tho sinner’s serve is good, it is a little to predictable. His return is good tho. Also he lacks variety on his shots, I’m sure new shots and better game sense would come with age. But I’m sure he is ready mentally to compete against nadal !
Yes, he lacks variety. Sinner doesn't come to net even when the opponent is so far back, out of court. I don't see him slice or drop shot BUT he has a great baseline game, consistent and powerful. He needs variety when things are not working well, that of course can happen every now and then.

I think we have finally found the one for the future. Zverev, Rublev, Coric, Kyrgios and even Thiem. They just kept the conversation going but Sinner will be the real successor. I think his age counts for a considerable amount.
In the last few weeks he's beaten Tsitsipas, Goffin and Zverev and only dropped 1 set to them combined. Very impressive!
Coric and Kyrgios are going to be zero-heroes. While Thiem was the first of the original next gen group to win a major, he's too old to be a Djokovic, Nadal, or Federer level of champion. The newer group of next gen players (Sinner, Korda, Shapovalov, Ruud, Altmaier, Musetti, Gaston, Garin for clay tennis, etc) have a brighter future IMO.
You forgot Medvedev.
Robert Ofenloch None of them are anywhere close to roger or rafa
@@robertofenloch9595 it's always the same..3,4 years ago people were talking how kyrgios, zverev and so on will be great etc..npw all of a sudden gaston after two wins is aa great prospect...korda also, garin whp is 24 years old and is hot-cold..mussetti... 😁....after three years nobody will remember these players...don't be funny
Sinner para mí es el futuro número 1 del mundo
Sinner played out of this world.
Spettacolo. Ed è un ragazzino......ne vedremo delle belle
Sinner's got great temperament and poise..............he's the 'one' to take these guys now and good luck to him.
Inside-out forehand of Sinner's is just incredible. What a weapon!
"I was not feeling well. I had a fever. I shouldn't have played. I would probably have won the whole thing. In fact I can probably still win the whole thing despite not being in the tournament." - Zverev
😂😂😂Idk. It's annoying when players try to take the credit away from other. He was just out played through and through. Hope he's feeling better tho.
I have been waiting for another Sinner highlight video just to say that he played out of this world
this forehand of Sinner.. Just great!
Jannik Sinners inside out forehand is a work of art. The moment its set up, the other guy must simply accept defeat
Maybe this guy is not yet over his US open final loss. It might still be a nightmare to date 🤔
Sinner is on the come up!
Winning against Zverev isn't too hard🥴...but yeah, he played very good
@@seppschaft2185 Easy for you to say in the RUclips comment section.
Well...for a pro player of course
Sinner...dismantled Zverev. Completely.
So so impressed with his game. Living for those inside-out forehand missiles!
almost 4 minutes- must be paying those editors overtime
The highlights are not edited by people. It is all done with A.I. now. IBM uses an algorithm that creates the highlights. They are using this at all the Slams now. Look it up.
I think i now what you mean but not everyone know what A.I. and IBM means
Lukas Helmhart Rise of the Machines?
@@chuckfriebe843 Exactly. I think AI must find a good reason to just send us the 4-min highlights. Perhaps IBM applies the condition wherein >4-min highlights will be eliminated. 😅
Andrea Ho lol! Yeah. Maybe👍Cheers man!
Sinner has a wicked game, with a devilish composure; and his forehand is just ungodly
Sinner ia scarily consistent and calm. I guessed that he never showed his emotional reaction this year yet?
Zverev or Zverev, you will always be an enigma, constantly shifting between unbeatable and being beaten by unknowns..
Sinner hits like Zverev should be: big, powerful, big angles, then stepping in to either blast a winner or volley it away.
This guy is refreshing to watch. Superb technique and he is not afraid.
Sinner will be #1 in the world one day
Like if u agree
My guess is by the age of 21
This new guy as penetrating shots. Fast pace and not all topspin. The keys to a winning game is accuracy, strategy, and pace. He had all 3 this match.
Orgoglio italiano, grande Jannik!
Congratulations from Philippines 🇵🇭
"We will see how the match goes, but I feel like I am playing better and maybe I have a little more experience" - Alexander Zverex, 2/10/2020.
Hahahhahah
Zverev had a fever last night. However in normal conditions he would choked too, lol.
You didn’t write the entire quote. He also said, “but these young guys have no fear either and nothing to be nervous about. We’ll see what happens.” Your making it sound like he was boasting when he really wasn’t. He was simply stating facts.
@@chuckfriebe843 could be intepreted as he's trying to downplay Sinner's skill too as "these young guys just have no fear", not surprised someone like Zverev would think that way.
ductrung3993 I feel like Zverev is the kind of guy who wants to convince himself he’s not arrogant, but deep down inside he thinks he’s better than everyone and deserves to win every match
Rublev vs Sinner would be an interesting clash. Both play long balls with insane power.
Sinner was dominating the entire match. A pity Zverev can't play like he did those years back at the ATP finals which was entertaining. Now it's just cross courts till the lights go out... zzzzZzzzzz
@Salome33 Odd that he wasn't more aggressive if he wants to get out of court faster though.
Tremendo lo que le pega Sinner!, muy suelto, tiene todos los golpes, se avecina un nuevo crack!
Zverev is been easyly overcome for a new generation. Soon he will be past.
Pablo Briones id think that statement over
@Ryo Shusuke
H2H: Djokovic - Zverev 3:2
H2H: Nadal - Zverev 5:1
H2H: Federer - Zverev 3:4
And the most important one:
H2H: Rublev - Zverev 0:4
It seems like Zverev has beaten the old and young guys plenty of times already... And if you say that ATP Finals and Masters are not big stages, then you are dumb
@Ryo Shusuke You're right about that, they are all still in, and I've never said, that Zverev is a better player than all of these players, because that's not true. I've just proved that your statement, that Zverev has never beaten one of the Top Guys, is not true. Just show some respect🤝
Ryo Shusuke wow, why those racist vibes? If u dont like Zverev its ok but try to relax
@@NM-iw7kj Keine Chance, Ryo ist nur ein Troll. Siehe auch die Kommentare zu Thiem-Videos :-)
Great future ahead for this guy! 👍
He’s so good !!
This Sinner guy is a going to be a grand slam champion. Forget about Zverev.
Zverev was so lucky at US Open. I don't think he will ever play another final of Grand Slam.
And also on AO
If he improves certain aspects of his game, he definitely will.
He has still more than 10 years to improve his game and win a Major. Remember, Wawrinka won his first Slam with 29 and Thiem won his first with 27...
Remember how long it took for Thiem to win a Masters 1000 and his first Slam at 27. People tend to forget that.
Chuck Friebe The thing is, ever since Thiem first started getting to the top (2016/2017) you could see that he was improving every year. The guy used to have no hardcourt game at all, and then in 2018 he made it to that US Open quarter final and that got the ball rolling.
Court awareness and pure confidence with forehand sets up a winning game and match for Sinner. Wow.
Jannik Sinner youngest player who accomplish this on first grand slam tournament.... I hope this boy will have same force like big 3....
Damn...Sinner hitting balls like firecrackers 🤣😂🔥🔥🔥. Great job 👍
Damn he's 19? That's crazy.
Zverev missed his window at the US Open. Idk if he'll win a major at this rate
Especially considering Thiem played awful for the first hour or two in the final.
Zverev might not win a major or he will need a good draw and much help.
Zverev was ill today and he just played on Hard court 2 weeks ago, starting the fo without one Single Match on clay while sinner had much more preparation on clay. Even thiem struggled a little bit so far, so why thinks everyone zverev can never win a gs? He is only 23 and can improve his game.
I think sinner vs zverev is a future Blockbuster Match and gs final
@@timorei4405 it's all excuses man. Champions have to go through ups and downs. The ones that stay up and consistent are the real players. Level of mens tennis is off the charts right now
After the loss Zverev said “it was nothing about Sinner, I was sick”... he just can’t accept he lost, needs to grow up
Sinner has so much depth on his shot it’s incredible. I think if he wants to compete against nadal, he really needs to dominate short points with his effortless power. A promising player !
Nadal in straight sets easily
Yes, he lacks variety. Sinner doesn't come to net even when the opponent is so far back, out of court. I don't see him slice or drop shot BUT he has a great baseline game, consistent and powerful. He needs variety when things are not working well, that of course can happen every now and then.
Shiva Kumar yeah he lacks variety, and is a bit too predictable at the moment. I’m sure it’s because of age. Most 19 years old tennis players would rely more on speed, athletism and power
BRAVISSIMO, CHE ORGOGLIO. ADESSO ASPETTIAMO MUSETTI.
This is one hell of a debut from Janick and he's really a breath of fresh air but unfortunately he's probably gonna lose to Nadal in 3 tight sets or 4 sets.
Remember nadal in his debut back in 2004, nobody know who he was and the fact is he was unbeaten until 2009. we never know what happen to Sinner thou..
@@fauzanraeva4806 nadal debuted in 2005 and was one of the favorites to win the title
@@fauzanraeva4806 Only difference is Nadal didn't face a clay God when he debuted here in 2005.
Either way I would love Janick to prove me wrong and beat Nadal
Morlich209 oh yeah 2005 my bad
I support Sinner as an Italian, but If Sinner is out of this world, Rafa is out of this Galaxy, at least on clay I don’t think he has a chance
Impressive! Sinner deserves his best tournament. Amazing level against consolidated players.
even zverev was impressed by sinner's performance
Who wasn't?
@@seppschaft2185 👍😎
I don’t think he was. In his press conference zverev said he wasn’t playing well and that had something to do w the match. He said “it’s easy for him to hit the ball hard when I’m letting him do that” 🙄
@@chanelhamilton4840 Zverev doesn't know how to lose...
@@chanelhamilton4840 hehe that's typical zverev . at least he admitted that he was playing poorly . Sinner was in total control . Zverev has no game, it's a wonder that he had reached the US OPEN final.
Lo seguo da 2 anni e già ai tempi avevo previsto che fosse ora già nei primi 30. Comunque il suo destino è quello di dominare il tennis nei prossimi 10 anni. Grande jannik
Rolang Garros thanks for the Highlights but, what about Diego Schwartzman? He's having a huge performance and you didn't put even one of him!!!
wondering why no fans. Then I saw it was 2020, not today
sinner’s forehand is something else
Me gusta mucho como juega este muchacho, su aplomo y variedad de recursos. Va a llegar muy lejos porque está demostrando que puede jugar bien el polvo y el que juega bien en polvo puede adaptarse a jugar en cualquier superficie....
"I'll put myself in there."
Sinner's temperament is incredible for a player his age. If I were a top player I would find it unnerving playing him because he walks around the court like he knows he belongs and doesn't seem to feel any pressure. Rafa will win I think but it's only a matter of time before Sinner starts winning events.
Sinner gave us overwhelming performance against Zverev
From no name to contender, Sinner is the real deal.
Sinner is playing well, and will give Nadal his toughest test yet!
6 1 6 2 6 1 for Rafa
@@Anticommunism99 *6-2 7-6 6-4 my prediction

@@chrain2.080 i hope so as an italian
Nadal will win but he isn't going to destroy him like some people are predicting.
Such a fearless hard hitter even under pressure Sinner. The way he is playing in this Roland Garros reminds a little bit the way Guga Kuerten swept off big names on route to his first title in 1997.
Unpopular opinion: Sinner is better than Zverev and Tsisipas.
Sinner shows sign of greater chanpion indeed. Tsitsipas will have to change mentally if he wants to keep up to Sinner
Tsitsipas is an ATP finals champion, and beat Nadal at Madrid last year. Zverev is a 3 time masters 1000 champ and an atp finals champion. He's also a grand slam semifinalist and finalist. Sinner shows a lot of potential, but he's not there just yet
No he isn’t. Hasn’t win anything outside this match.
If Sinner and Zverev met in fast hard court, the story will be different.
Brutal talent and consistency. Watch out!
