Pt. 1 - These are audio recordings I made in the 70's of some Boston FM Radio Stations.
The stations heard here are ones that I still have recordings of; many recordings did not survive the 70's..

This is the only one that I remember in that era doing quadraphonic. Their signal sometimes drifted into the WCOZ space, or near it. This was recorded with a dial-type tuner. I miss those.. I still have one around, but it failed in the mid 90's..

The clip starting 1:30 was Aired Thursday August 14 1975. The day before WCOZ switched over to album oriented rock. Wish 99.5 WSSH attempting to lure the soft easy listeners over to that station.

WMTQ: My favorite radio station back in 1975. Would love to hear that type of music back on the radio again. Quad FM, Thur and Sun nights IIRC. I still have a tape w/ that Quad program intro, and Percy Faith's cover of Touch The Wind as the first selection.

I love the cool FM 'COZ dude from 2:45 to 3:25. "Sorry Elton, didn't mean for it to end this way" after the record starts skipping.

Yes, that was Ken Shelton. Didn't know he brought the Supergroups with him from BZFM (didn't know he ranked Van Morrison and Jackson Brown as Super Artists either).
