I suspect the new version of the Mohajer drone, which carries a larger warhead, might have been used in the Attack inside Pakistan, but all that claim that the attack was to eliminate two terrorist camps of the militant group Jaish al-Adli does not sound convincing, in all likelihood the target could have been the US-operated Drone base in Balochistan, to pre-empt a twin-attack on Iran from Balochistan as well as from the Rapid deployment force near gulf of Yemen!

Instead of battery operated drones, use jet based drones. This will avoid lot of limitation on range, weather limitations and lift capabilities.
Small size jet engines are easily available.
Ultrasound altimeters are not very expensive.
