Hyperia construction update with a drone footage over the first drop. Whilst there we took two 360 photos of the drop and from the top of the crane. Amazing views.

8:03 my stomach can feel the back seat of that drop. My goodness if we get backward facing seats then Thorpe are trying to kill us

I remember when the layout was first leaked and thinking this coaster was too good to be true, so wild that its actually been built, cant wait to see it running and see and hear everyone's reactions, I'm in the US so it'll be a bit before I ride it but I cant wait to experience this coaster someday, great video guys!

I have a Survey Company that I use drones to get really close to roofs for investigation. Thats my favourite footage to date 🙃

Back row is going to be bonkers! X2 is currently my favourite first drop on a coaster and I think this has a very high chance of taking that title. Imagine if they reverse the back row like on DC rivals, it would be absolutely insane!!

Fantastic footage, thanks so much for sharing! We were at monks walk today. Very muddy but well worth it to see how hyperia is taking shape! Great footage from the top of the first drop. Gonna be incredible to experience it first hand when open. 😊

I have done inspections for crane operators, but never one that tall from the floor in one piece.
They could have made it taller tbf

This is going to be a great coaster, but good lord does the theming (or absolutely lack of it) completely suck. While I know Merlin / Thorpe Park don't have anywhere near the budget of Universal or Disney, but aside SAW and the new opening of Nemesis at Alton Towers, basically all the parks have the bare minimum theming. Once you go to a true theme park it is an incredible experience being engulfed in another world - I just wish we had that in the UK. I know about the plans for Universal to come here, but I'd be absolutely amazed if that actually was fully green lit and came to exist.
I have the same opinion.
Average rides will theme heavily to attract guests, this ride has so much attention, I believe they feel they don't need to theme it so much... sad.
They are going to need to take a look at all parks as they are all looking tired now.
