Tim, I've been watching episodes of the Hotel Inspector with Alex Polizzi, it would be a cool series to visit the hotels she's helped to see if they're still up to par or even still open.
I watch those too, it would be interesting to see Tim visit some independent hotels like those you mention 👍
Awesome idea!
I've never seen that show lol
@@WalkWithMeTimHow have you never watched that?!?
Weirdly I’ve been watching that show as well. On RUclips. I guess that’s the good old algorithm at work. Great idea for Tim to visit those places
Thankyou for your Thorpe Park Hotel video,I couldn't stay there,I would need a room with a window.Shame the water park was closed
Stayed here a few times, it's basic, but after a long day at the park you only really need a place to sleep. For dinner we actually walked to The Red Lion in Thorpe village for a really good meal. Rather than pay theme park prices for food inside the dome
If you’re not local and after spending a big day in the park, I reckon that’s a great value option for a place to stay, recharge and ready for another day of fun. Cheers Tim 👍
"I can't hear no wind"..so you CAN hear wind ?🤔...only poking fun, good review as always 👍
yeh is the wind quiet then ..? lol
@@WalkWithMeTim ha..its a head scratcher 😁
@@coom0004😂😂 I noticed he said that too..
It actually looks like a cabin on an offshore oil and gas platform in the North Sea albeit more brightly painted, where I would spend two weeks every month on a two week on two week off rotation. We usually have bunk beds (bottom for day shift, top bunk for night shift).
I love the atmosphere of these kinds of place when they're deserted. I'd keep well away during busy periods.
I really like that aesthetic it is like a very posh industrial building mixed in with a beautiful theme. I think Pontins could do something similar.
Reminds me of butlins all those stairs and the bunk beds. Not sure I would like to stay there though. Thanks for another brilliant vlog ❤xxx
Hello Tim how are you and gabbie and baby Casper and Holly love your vidio of the Thorp hotel Shawn and Charlotte have stayed there too have a good time much love to you and your family stay safe xx ❤😊
Cruise ship cabins are constructed inside what are essentially shipping container type units and slid in to place on the ship. The little room has old cruise / ferry vibes
More like migrant worker accom, for the managers of course !
Summer nights used to be great the park opened till 10pm with hardly any queues 😊
Those are cute, and I like the decor. I don't like not having windows. I was going to rent one those on a lot by the beach in NC, but I didn't think about the no windows. Thanks for the video
It was a very good travel day blog today of you chilling out and relaxing staying in Thorpe Park shipping container hotel tim
Glad you enjoyed it
That's one long walk from the carpark, for those a bit less mobile!
Thanks for the video Tim! Interesting to see the park closed! Glad you had great weather!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the tour - Kevin & Cyndy
A good video of I Stay In A Shipping Container Hotel! - WOW!💚💚💚💚
I really like watching ur vids, you should go to USA and make some videos there on hotels
I'm planning too 🙂
you dessrve so many more followers, your reviews are genuine and unbiased. that’s so uncommon these days, coolest reviewer ever!!
Thanks
That would be a pretty cool place to stay. What a great idea to reuse shipping containers. I don't think I would stay there if the park were open. Too noisy and crowded but worth a try in off season.
You always make me smile....A shipping container? Oh myCan't wait to see where get to stay next! You must be running out of choices of ''strange places to stay overnight'' by now surely?!!! Not sure I could do a room without any windows again...I did once, in a back street B & B in Blackpool opposite a windowless toilet & bathroom too. I couldn't wait to get out to see the daylight again!!!😵💫🌞Great video again Tim x J x
Thanks J
Very interesting its a good idea for people who love rides
Looks really nice. The chrome fittings and mirror were spotless to.
If you're there after the vibes bar and kitchen closes, you can always uber some food to the park. I stayed there not long after it re opened during covid, and they actually recommend it to you. Every time I've stayed there since I've ordered out. It's cheaper, and the options are so much better. McDonald's, kfc, small independent places as long as you put in the parks address they'll deliver.
Yes I did think that
Ahh, seeing that Canada Creek and Rocky Express sign brought back memories. Classic childhood memories of the area of park now taken up by Hyperia.
Fascinating vlog, Tim. I have seen homes made from these shipping containers but always think they must feel a bit claustrophobic..
Very eerie seeing an empty park in the evening.. I half expected a creepy clown to jump out! 😂 Thanks for the interesting video! 👍
Looks like a great place to stay there , nice room for a small family sleep there at night spend the day out and about.
Hi Tim what an excellent video and I really enjoyed seeing a Shipping Container Hotel Room where you spent the night and what an awesome hotel. . I have really enjoy seeing you make videos of different types of hotels you stay at.
Glad you enjoyed it bobby
Hey Tim. We’re regular viewers of your videos. How about a tour of Beamish or Black Country museum? I visited these attractions as a child and remember them very fondly - I would love to see you and your little family do a video of these. How about it? Keep up the good work. Kind regards.
Thanks for the tip
Can you do a day and evening in the Alton towers hotel, theme park and waterpark please? Great video as usual Tim!
Coming soon
I think I'd be happy in the roooom! As long as it's clean, I'm happy. Great video!
Glad you didn’t end up in the bins. Interesting place. Great video
Lol
Interesting thanks Tim great video yes very compact look forward to the next Yvonne 😊
Hi Tim, another informative video .. Sorry but i wanted to thank you for the brilliant videos you and Gaby do and also to say a massive thank you because my son and i are off to Potters at Hopton on Sea on Fri 7th July after seeing your tour of it back in Jan. Without your visit we would never have known of it`s existence. I have been watching both Gaby and you together and find that your interaction with each other is so entertaining . Many thanks and keep up the good work.
Wow only if I was on commission
I am getting claustrophobia just by looking at it... 🤢🤢🤢
Oh Tim please do a video on the theme park!!! Would love to see it, especially after your Terra Mitica video!! HUGE FAN ❤😊
Hotel looks amazing such a cosy room and fantastic they got AC cos most hotels they don't and thats ridiculous during summer. I would stay there for sure hygiene looked great. Ummm but only thing is for one night 1 person £159 for me is a little on the pricey side but I mean thorpe park is lovely even when it's empty still looked cool. Also yeah if the music was playing in an empty theme park like that then I would have found it creepy lol.
Thanks for sharing Tim 👍
Not sure if you could, but I’d be tempted to go into the car park in the morning and give my day tickets to someone arriving. You know if you were in the same position and was leaving and not using yourself. I’m sure Tim left far before opening time but that’s what I’d like to do. Nice to pass good karma if you can 😊
I would have but left so early I did say that at reception they said no
Yes pass it along I was at a festi once Eastern Haze only ran for one year twaz nice, anyhoot I stayed to do the litter pick for £25 a day and a guy came up to me on the last night and said he had to go but here, have this 2 grams of MDMA so I shared it with randoms, it was great, Is that the sort of thing you mean ?
Surprised they close the bar and food so early your litrley a captive audience they could make a bundle
I know
Hiya Tim,like your vlog.good price especially when including to go in the park . great for family's with small kids to stay.i like it.not been there for years so much has changed.thank for sharing.take care.👍
Nice video. I’m in Florida and some of our major theme parks have some nice perks when you stay at their hotels (but you’re definitely paying a premium!). The first time I learned about this park hotel was watching a video posted by the Forgetful Dad, who posted a video of himself & family staying there. Definitely looks like a neat place to visit! Yet again, another fun video by you!
Thanks
First day back at work after my holiday, sleeping in at work, but there is a Tim video!!!
😃
Thank you for sharing such a good, concise review of the shark cabins! ☺️
For autumn/Halloween can you stay in more haunted castles/ hotels? I know it's a bit early to be asking but gives you plenty of time to research & book 😁👻
If the want to do something like that I would recommend the golden fleece in York it's allegedly very haunted and doesn't cost a fortune I would say you will probably need some bravery. I have heard so many creepy stories about the place
@@liamcollinson5695 looks perfect! Exactly the kind of place I'd love Tim to check out... Especially as he seems to have some belief in the supernatural, makes it a more enjoyable watch 👻🎃
I never been too theme parks really but all in all the stay and extras seems a fair enough good enough deal
Great video, I’m not sure I would stay here though as I’d find it too small. We are staying at Alton towers hotel next month for my son’s birthday.
That is a good price package Tim. Hotel at Chessington is £125 per night not including any park access ! xx
Hi Tim. Liked the room. If you had Gaby and family with you it would be worth the price especially as it includes free tickets for two days to the park.
Superb,I was waiting to see a little yellow fiat in the car park lol, thanks Tim 👍😉💪
😁
Please come to Manchester and stay at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, I've worked there previously and would love to see your thoughts on it as a customer
Great vlog. I'm looking forward to seeing the clacton one.
Coming soon!
Have you got any videos of Skiathos not Zakinthos in Greece
Think he’s going to Zante instead but if he hasn’t booked it he could consider there it’s unbelievable he needs to visit
Yes coming soon 😉
Thank you for doing this, i recommended this to you a while back and i’m so happy you finally made it!
Not a bad little room Tim and price is good with the park tickets x
We have stayed there and loved every minute of it.
Very similar accommodation to Snoozebox Olympic Park, Newham, East London (next to ABBA experience).
Please can you go to what used to be the Chocolate boutique hotel in Bournemouth? It’s had new owners in the last few years so it would be intriguing to see how they have changed it
We went, two days in the park, free breakie, free parking and an hours fast pass on the second day , worked out cheaper than a day ticket!
Hey Tim. In this video, you need to take a still of the skyline at 1min 27sec, as this shows just SAW and no Hyperia. Then you can superimpose the two together with before and after shots
We stayed there last week and booked breakfast at 8.00. Overall it was very good, you can eat as much as you want. The only thing was the sausages could have been better as not much flavour. The staff were friendly and showed us in and asked us where we want to sit, oh and the coffee was very good had a cappuccino and a latte. For our experience I have to give it 4 out of 5. It was much better than I was expecting.😊
Great video as always! Been loving the waterpark videos. Would love for you to review land of legends in Turkey!
If you're a family with small kids that are really about the theme park, this is pretty basic but seems like it would fit bill.
I would love to see you visit Abandoned Hotels. There is something special about them.
I haven't been to Thorpe Park for a long time.
Neither have I. I remember going once or twice with my primary school, and then later with my brothers when I was (I think) 21. I was 21 in 1994......
Love watch you video and give me ideas for where to go in holiday
Looks good Tim can you let Gaby know my sister had a baby boy this morning
Congratulations, Craig! That's really awesome news. Is she naming the baby after you? :-)
@@gwengold8154 no lol
@Craigcargill80 she ought to consider it. Craig is a good name. And it would solidify your position as favorite uncle. :-)
Just have congratulations 🎊
Very interesting video, unquestionable a different place to stay. Thanks Tim for all your hard work, i know editing takes ages, well done mate.
The shark cabins are great. Everything you need!
Hello Tim,for the money it looks good, the container is big enough for a family but for myself I have the double bed lol.maybe it would be noisy wehn the park is open.
Hi Tim you stayed at the look out tower in Wainfleet just one to think of cheers matey
another great video! enjoying the hotel reviews! would be a pretty cool experience to stay but couldn’t stand not having a window in the room! 😁❤️
Tim looks nice enough,
interesting to stay in one of these👍👍
when i saw the title i had to have a peek, and sorry to say i didnt watch it all & skipped through to the relevent bits to take a look, coz as a kid when travelling round parts of the world i've slept in a plethora of unusual places, (usually for free) such as garages, sheds, shop floors, squats, derelict buildings, doorways, you name it, but never in a container lol, i never realised what i was missing !! - luxury.
Hi Tim, we as a family of four stayed at the shark hotel when it first opened. Hotel was lovely and we stayed when it was a late summer night opening at the theme park. So by the time we had finished at the park, eaten and showered we went straight to bed. If it wasn’t for the late night opening of the theme park I agree nothing to do on the evening. Breakfast was included for the morning but we didn’t really rate it. Overall very good but food not so good. Thanks
thanks for watching Emma
I will recommend to try the mini cruise from p&o to Amsterdam ore Rotterdam
Tim please come to haven in Allhallows Kent... its a huge campsite on the Thames Eastuary in a tiny village.. I have my own views on the campsite but would love for you to review it... if you want to see all the amenities open come high summer... when the weather is good its a little bit of peaceful bliss
Well I live 5 mins away from Thorpe park and been to here sooooooo many times and never knew had hotel or containers to sleep in should I say
Great video Tim, different but room looked good, safe travels to wherever next!!!! 😊
I’ve stayed in worse caravans in wales looks quite cute and I’m sure with my name I could blag a discount 😅
Some of the Shark Cabins now have turned to Swarm Cabin which is all themed around The Swarm. Stayed at Shark Cabins last year what you get with the stay is good for the price but in the evening is kinda doll as can't do nothing just sit out side or play some arcade games
£159 per person that is too , not by room. I thought amazing price untill I just went to book it and came up to 522 for 4 of us 😂
I might get cabin fever in those containers and just a bit too cosy even with family members. Only good for a family of 4 too unless they have bigger ones! Perfect for young single people visiting the park for a few days though!!
You should visit the stargazing pods at Alton Towers
Looks ok but shame there isn't much going on in the evening 😕 least its clean lol
Certainly different but I'd feel a bit trapped n restricted... staying in that, like the vlog, another good one 👍
Fair review as always although personally I would give the containers a miss, very construction site esque. 🚧👷
I Honestly Love Thorpe Park! Tim, You Should Try Riding Some Of The Rides There! You Do Need Permission To Film On The Rides, However, There's Not Much Kasper-Friendly Attractions There. 4 Rides I Recommend Riding Are: Colossus, Swarm, Inferno And Stealth.
Brilliant 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
In your description, "Surrey" has parted company with it's "e". Perhaps it's on the container ship. 😊
Me and my wife did a 2 day last year at Thorpe Park and it was one of the best night sleep I had in a hotel. It’s a shame you didn’t try the breakfast because I thought it was delicious
Awesome video! I did a review & video about a year back on it! As a theme park enthusiast i was very honest! If you get a deal id say its pretty good for a night! Sometimes they do night quizes which is fun! I gotta say I enjoyed it there & are now there are themed ones for the rides! Id stay again although its a bit claustrophobic😊
Hi tim keep trying to catch up with you and your channel. Getting closer to update 😊
So close! Lol
I think a slide to avoid using those stairs on the way down would be a great idea lol.
I like the room and the park looks great
They are cute cozy rooms
i know a lot of thorpe park goers tend to end up at the Hungry Horse restaurant down the road at the end of the day. its a sit down eatery, but at least you get an indoor table you know? Anyway, thanks for this video, always wondered what was in there.
Thanks for the info! Lol
When will you come to Scotland we'll be pleased to see you
Hi Tim great vlog yet again .I think visit Wales, or Dublin. Or Even day out to France by the frerrie, and book B&B over there .
I wonder if those room door entry cards fail to work, after all that distance walking to the rooms, then have to walk all the way back to reception to get the card re activated, it happens quite often in hotels, so possibly could happen there.
If you don’t want to stand around in a queue try the the last one first and work you way back to the first
