Oh u gotta listen to the whole song! This video was only half of it! Also with Stevie he’s one of those legendary artists where u just have to sit and listen to a full album to understand how good he is. His Songs of the key of Life album is 1 of the best of all time and I know you’ll both love it!
This is simply one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. It was always one of my absolute favourites, but once I had my son it took on another meaning. You need to listen to the full studio version as he switches it up. And then the whole album. Then all the other albums! Maybe do a whole month of Stevie! Or more - we’d all be here for it!!
I absolutely love this song except my mom told me she wants this played at her funeral/ memorial- now I can’t listen without thinking about that eventual day.
The black community WORSHIPS STEVIE!!!!!!!!! What are y’all talkin bout????????????? He is our national TREASURE. Y’all didn’t grow up to him so I can understand you’re not privy, but Stevie is ADORED throughout the world. When he passes the world will stop for a good minute. We worship him now we worship him now and then. Check out GOLDEN LADY. Also SUPERWOMAN
Guys unfortunately you didn’t listen to the bridge 😔😔 it’s so much powerful and he changed his voice and approach and went very aggressive on it you should react to the full version than the version in studio that you reacted here in this vid no hate or anything just wanted to let you know and yes this reaction is my favorite rn and it’s my favorite song I love you guys ❤️❤️✨ god bless you
Thank you so much for putting this song into your lives! It is a beautiful song about how much he loves someone. One of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs! His catalog is HUGE!
There is a song that Stevie wrote when he was 14 called Until You Come Back to Me. He gave it to Aretha Franklin who had a hit with it. Would love to see your reaction to it. Stevie is a musical genius, songwriter, arranger and multi talented musician. Thank you for reacting to As....one of my favorites. ❤️
Back in the 60's 70's and 80's Stevie was truelt called the 7th Wonder of the World. He is a musical and lyrical, genius, the way he could write words that had so much meaning.
You got that right, once you listen to one of his songs you can go down a rabbit hole of 100s of other great songs by him, he has one of the deepest discographies in music and with some of the best albums ever and you can’t box him into one genre because he has a song for every mood you can think of. I’ll suggest: Living for the City Sir Duke Don’t you worry bout a thing Overjoyed You haven’t done nothing I wish
Listen to the whole thing next time. One of my favorites, just beautiful: the message, the music, the singing. Love ❤❤❤ Thank you for listening. Keep it up! 👍🏾
There’s no bandwagon to jump on everyone and they mama knows how legendary Stevie Wonder is and don’t wish death on Legends please Stevie is doing fine he’s immortal💯
You haven’t heard anything yet ! Stevie Wonder is The God Of All Music ! He is the greatest singer/songwriter,arranger and producer, multi-instrumentalist , humanitarian in music history . He can play nearly any instrument, he gave Ray Kurzweil the idea for weighted keys on electric keyboards, as well as authentic sounding instruments on synths like bass, guitar, drums, acoustic pianos, organs etc . Between the two of them, came the very 1st fully operative authentic sounding keyboard (. Kurzweil 250 ) ! If you really want to get into Stevie Wonder ‘s genius, start from album to album, start with “ Music Of My Mind “, then go from there to the present . By the way, Stevie Wonder has written, arranged & produced hit songs for at least 100 different artist and groups . Michael Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Rufus and Chaka Kahn, The Spinners, Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, just to name a few ! I’m not even including all his hit songs he wrote, arranged and co-produced before he was 21yrs old , he even wrote, arranged “ All I Do “ for Tammi Terrell when he was 16yrs old . People like Prince, Michael Jackson and many many other artist either studied Stevie Wonder up close or from afar !
Stevie is my all-time favorite artist. I saw him live a couple of years ago on his "Songs In The Key Of Life" tour. He BLEW ME AWAY!!!!! He has so much great material and it's all fantastic. I recommend you check out "Creepin'".
It is really good to see to young people that really appreciate the talents of our era . We been gave Stevie his flowers a long long time ago. Its guys like you two that can continues to introduced our great era of music to the young generation... Keep up the good work !
More Stevie please. Stevie is the deepest rabbit hole in music. Since you only did half of this one do all of "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing" and then the incredibly beautiful "Overjoyed".
More than just a blind man playing the piano. A true artist who wrote and produced for himself and others. He ran the studio and played multiple instruments and according to Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes was an accomplished martial artist 😁
My favs are Ordinary Pain, Living for the City, You and I, Summer Soft, Boogie On Reggae Woman, Too High, Don’t you worry bout a thing, Tuesday Heartbreak, Blame it on the Sun, Contusion, Pasttime Paradise, Ngiculela-Es Una Historian, Another Star, Black Man, My Cherie Amour, You Haven’t Done Nothin.. That should keep you busy through 2021. Please listen to the studio album version to get the complete tracks
Good guys, pleas take a whole check to this 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, one of the classisc master recordings in musical industry ever. Thanks for follow Stevie`s music, all are a real master musical pieces. Thanks God he is with us yet. alive!!
Yo love some one when it defies logic and math is a feeling and emotion beyond understanding. Love you mom as this song has always defined how I felt about her
You two are great reactors, sharing your true emotions and very thoughtful and articulate. I have been listening to Stevie since the early 70s and you two give me hope for the next generation…We need to continue to bring awareness to climate change…Please give a reaction to “Save the Planet” by The Edgar Winter Group from the White Trash album…recorded in the 70s, when Earth Day was a brand new concept…Help spread the word!
Sorry ya’ll got cheated with this one. I don’t even recall hearing this version on the radio back the day. It cuts off on the middle of jazz legend Herbie Hancock’s Fender Rhodes piano solo too? Thas like criminal! It’s also only about half the energy of the entire song, cause after the Pips o solo, Stevie takes the intensity up with his vocals. So not only are there more lyrics, but his delivery is powerful & sometimes gritty. Never saw this video & didn’t know it existed, but that might be why it cut off in the middle of a solo, because this was the original track & instrumental improvised solos are not as easy to synch as lip synching vocals. Would highly recommend, HITSVILLE: The Making Of Motown. You may be able to find it on RUclips, but it gives great insight & backing to a lot of r&b soul music. Also, Michael Jackson’s Journey From Motown to Off The Wall.
I like your reaction videos so far. Maybe you could also do a reaction to Victoria Justice's new cover called Everybody's Breaking Up which is a jazz soundtrack for a film. 💕
c'mon guys this song was written in the 70s. Now is not the 70s. All black people have equality now, as much as it can be had. I mean Stevie was born with this amazing music talent; will I ever be equal with him? NO! The best we can hope for is equality of opportunity. We have that now. Today the open hate toward white people is the evil of our time.
@@CriTiCriTiques Gotcha. But I will say, the "Motown" sound is very unique and you'd probably love getting lost in the incredible Motown sound. Don't get me wrong though, i absolutely love Stevie Wonder and had the amazing honor of shaking his hand when I was about 18. Thanks for the great channel, keep it up!
You guys left out the best part I'm sorry to hear him say those words in his contacts y'all left out the best part if that's what y'all doing no wonder I haven't heard from y'all heard of y'all I'm sorry
How do you get Stevie sing to a white woman? Is that your wishful thinkin? 9:38... How about LOVE ITSELF. Defining the meaning of what Love is or what LOVE should be for Humankind.
