The way Theo switches from blending perfectly full voicing the 3rd at 2:11 to placing it in a more lead style is absolutely flawless. The entire performance is damn near impeccable, these kids are already one of the best quartets of all time imo.
Theo is incredible... One moment he seamlessly blends into the texture of the quartet sound, the next he pops out with the most beautiful vibrato and floats on top
1:41 at "moon", i've listened to this song probs 100 times yet only while listening passively did I hear how insanely crystal clear that chord is. just wow, instant classic never ceases to amaze me
Amazing performance of what sounds like a difficult arrangement. I love the way the lead lingers after everyone else cuts off at 2:18. Also, plenty of baritone fills which were executed just perfectly. Superb arrangement as well.
I love all of the baritone echoes here. "I do..." David, this is a fantastic arrangement! Love you guys, Instant Classic is my favorite quartet (my favorite modern quartet, which personally means Gas House Gang and after)!
Earlier, I got chills _thinking_ about this performance of this arrangement. Just a thought made the blood rush from my cheeks and the hairs on my arms stand on end. A masterful performance. Thank you so much, guys.
No words are enough to capture how amazing that is. Stunning, powerful, moving... They sound like they're still competing! That would surely win gold in any year of barbershop competition. I'm so glad they're still doing new stuff!
Every prize and plaudit they have won is well earned. This treatment of an already ready powerful song is achingly beautiful and fraught with emotional weight.
This was a part of a larger show featuring many BHS International Champion quartets, presented in an Opry-style format in Nashville, TN. The men you see on stage are fellow performers and champion quartet members.
I swear these guys have the most rings per cubic holy crap of any quartet I've ever heard.

This is the first I've seen of them but I would bet you're right.
With this song, and this performance I agree!
I wouldnt even consider this as an opinion, it's a fact
That resonance of that perfectly in-tune, pure sounding, major chord at 2'-12" is astounding!
i feel like such a nerd crying to a barbershop quartet song.
Well done lads.
Theo is incredible... One moment he seamlessly blends into the texture of the quartet sound, the next he pops out with the most beautiful vibrato and floats on top
This is one of the best performances I’ve ever heard. I’m typing this 10 minutes later and can’t see the letters through the tears.
This might be one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard

Kohl at 0:40... absolutely beautiful. Love this quartet
All of the baritone echoes here are just gorgeous.
So nobody's going to talk about 2:49... god that was beautiful.
Preach brother
Synergy is the word I choose for these guys because the outcome of their performances is always far greater than the sum of the parts!! Love them!

They're great, aren't they? I personally think modern quartets are Acoustix and after. To each their own.
Earlier, I got chills _thinking_ about this performance of this arrangement. Just a thought made the blood rush from my cheeks and the hairs on my arms stand on end. A masterful performance.
Thank you so much, guys.
LifeOnTheLedgerLines great comment!
@@henrymontgomery5196 Thank you!

Good god, these guys can sell a ballad >.

barber shop has never made me this emotional
Simply magnificent!
Oh for god's sake you guys always make me cry. Well done. Once more.
Brilliant performance, stellar singing, gorgeous blending and too darn emotional.
They make us cry, and we hate it, but I wake up every day only to come back once more.
Perhaps many, many times more than once, actually...
This brought tears to my eyes. So powerful.
One of my top five quartets the lead is sweet pure
I can’t get over Theo’s voice in 2:11 and 3:16. What a ridiculous lead.
It just doesn't get any better than this. What a masterful performance!
They keep getting better and better!
Yes. YES. THIS is what barbershop should be.
At 2:05 the key change was immaculate
Their blending is so so good
1:52 the most beautiful chord.
Wow, just amazing, best quartet ever right here, and the song has been stuck In my head for weeks!
Absolutely stunning. Great control from everyone.
This is beautiful, have to keep coming back to it!
Oh heavens that is so beautiful xxxx
Superb arrangement matched by an equally superb performance.
Stunningly beautiful.
I love it. Love every second of this!
Wow. So many chills
2:46 gets me every time
Phew that was good!
Wow. Fantastic.
Yes! !
"Phone" at 1:52. That is all.
Wow,just wow
2:54, that is all
Love your "As long as I'm singing" man
Anyone know where to find this arrangement?
This should be bigger
*Give me a beat Richard*
Does anybody know who arranged this piece?
I was wondering the same thing. If I had to guess, it's one of their own arrangements.
Mike K I was thinking the same
David Zimmerman, their Tenor, arranged this.
Michael Adams then David is a world class arranger!
@@betsywalits9869 He is! Everyone in this quartet is an arranger, and fantastic ones at that.
Why are there people sitting behind them? A quartet of this caliber should always have the entire stage to themselves.

Did Kohl or Theo arrange this?
Nope, this one was arranged by David!
sucks that you can only win gold once before you arent allowed to compete again because other wise these guys would have 5 golds at this point
I was never pro-forced sterilization until I saw that some shell of a being disliked this video.
People just want to rub their misery on everything and everyone. These poor people deserve our pity, but none of our attention.
Gross arrangement
