The previous Lovebites song you reacted to was "Nameless Warrior" and that video was from the same concert as this. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the mix since the lead singer, Asami, sang in a lower register as that track dictated. It also demonstrated her broad and dynamic mid-to-high range.
@@mmcpa Those two are very close for me. I think Break the Wall is slightly better because of the switch up they do in the middle where it slows down and you get the contrasting solos by Midori and Miyako. Both are in my top 5.
@ChadTheDragonLord That's a catalyst for making "Break the Wall" my favorite thrash song ever. I mean, really, a slow bass interlude into Miyako's very emotional solo, sandwiched by a Slayeresque song/riff? It's an extremely intelligent thrash song.
Now onto the 3rd release from this concert, Judgement Day!!! I am loving Hammer of Wrath more and more. I got the Blu Ray of the concert and the whole concert is awesome. The song Judgement Day shows off the Bass as well and the guitar solos are awesome!!! Then there is Haruna on Drums, slow is not in her nature!!! Finally, Asami's vocals are even better in this song and overall in the concert, her English is even better as she did work on it in their time off. Long Live Lovebites!!!
Judgement Day is on the way, hopefully the picker wheel sends it my way soon! I'll be checking out the studio version first with the MV, but I'll definitely be getting around to the recent live performance as well!
This is their first song in their first concert back and they let Fami shine and show their support for her through the concert. Fami is a perfect fit and is bringing her own style to the songs. I must echo Brandy in saying .... Haruna! Haruna! Haruna!
She's doing an incredible job for sure! I believe it was my previous lovebites reaction (nameless warrior live) where I discussed that, it's pretty dang hard to replace their last bassist, but she's doing a phenomenal job with it!
This song is amazing, and this live is the best version of it, IMO. This is the highest level of thrash, and being that thrash is my first metal love, this is one of the best ever. For reference, I'm 63 and have been a metalhead for over 50 years. The best guitar solo run by Lovebites IMO is "Judgement Day". Love your honesty without worrying about your fanbase.
Hi there, great reaction! In my opinion, the lyrics are related to the book 'Malleus Maleficarum,' or in English, 'The Hammer of Witches,' written by Heinrich Kramer and Jakob Sprenger in 1486. This book became an official instruction guide for punishing witches during the late Middle Ages in Europe. (There is a comprehensive Wikipedia article about it.) In short, if someone was found guilty of being a witch, they were allowed to choose the method of their execution, either drowning or burning.
Oh man, it's a shame I didn't know that prior to filming, I always like diving into historical topics when I get the chance, and that would have been a fascinating one to talk about!
I checked out Nameless Warrior not too long ago, and Judgement Day is on the way (both the MV and live performance)! Hopefully the picker wheel sends it my way soon!
What band is this making you think of? Clearly, that answer should be ANTHRAX. You could take all 5 ladies out of the song, and replace them with the classic lineup of Anthrax (Joey Belladonna, Scott Ian, Danny Spitz, Frank Bello, Charlie Benante), and it would sound like this came off their 1986 album Among the Living. That’s how good these ladies are, as they can thrash as good as the classic thrash bands, do it better, and do it in heels.
@@lunageeksout if so, then I’d suggest some of their classics from that album! Caught in a Mosh, I am the Law, and Indians are definitely where to start! Especially with Indians and Caught in a Mosh!
LoveBites, say no more except...HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! 🤘🐺🤘
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
🤘🏻🔥🐺🔥🤘🏻love Lovebites‼️

Super fami🎉❤🎉
Top 5 Lovebites song. When Lovebites does thrash, they always knock it out of the park. Great song, great bass, great everything.
This is, I think, their #2 best thrash. "Break the Wall" live for me is my favorite thrash song ever.

I'm inclined to agree (though admittedly I do still need to check out the studio version to get a full understanding), this one hit insanely hard!
august 31st (KNOCKIN’ AT HEAVEN’S GATE)1st place in the weekly music blu-ray and dvd rankings, the first time for LOVEBITES to be 1st place in both.

my number 1 favorite contemporary group with my two favorite metal guitarists #2 is the Warning #3 Gacharic Spin/DOLL$BOXX
👍👍👍
nameless warrior and judgement day of the same concert

It wouldn't be Anthrax, since I've never actually listened to them (though if this is similar I'll definitely have to check them out!)
