Congrats friend. I been on reg dose T for like 6 years now. And I moved from NJ to GA and I legit have my brother in NJ go to the pharmacy and send them in the mail bc it’s much more expensive in different states. Like $60 for 20 doses vs $20 for 2 doses aka $60 for 6 👀.

Please please look at the risks of long term testosterone use. Since gender affirming is new, there are few studies assessing the risk, much less long term risk. Make sure you are checked regularly for cancers. Good luck!

I guarantee you this person already knows this. Trans ppl do research for months before starting hormones. There’s more risk of unintended medical side effects for birth control than hormone replacement therapy for trans folk lol.

Hey! I know you may not be aware, but trans people are by far not the first people to use hormone replacement therapy, as it was initially made for cis people who needed doctors to help them with hormone balancing! It's been happening for a long time, especially in terms of cis men taking testosterone.
I appreciate your message and concern, and your worries are definitely valid, I just wanted to give you some information you may not have had previously!

@@octaviusstreams1936Thank you so very much for your respectful response. I am a researcher and try to stay up on the trends. I have a special interest in HRT as my son was on it for a growth disorder.
In addition, I took HRT for decades (birth control and acne) and was diagnosed with hormone driven breast cancer. This isn’t absolute cause and effect of course.
I just want everyone….cis, trans, etc to be informed and safe.

I cannot go to the eye doctor with insurance it would always be separate insurance the eyes that came in my body from birth, so why do you get gender, affirming healthcare?
