These gender reveals seem quite Elaborate. When I had my babies years ago, you didn’t know what you were having until the baby was born. I can’t imagine that now!
Hubby and I have known each other for 38 years since middle school. Thinking back over 20 years ago it was nothing like this! We had the results in an envelope or a bigger view as the center of the cupcakes as blue or pink! This is awesome! 6 kids, (5 girls triplets and 1 boy) our oldest is 34 and the youngest just graduated college. No plans for children because they say this world is way to evil to even think about bringing a child into. It’s okay with me, when they are ready, I will have a big reveal party for sure. Right now hubby and I are empty nesters and enjoying our 101 time before becoming grandparents anyway. 💕
The world has always had evil. The Bible is even full of stories about evil people. I’m not sure from now until the time you become a grandparent that the world will all of a sudden be rid of all evil.
I hope they never have children just as they told you they wouldn't. Your desire to be grandparents should never override your children's needs and desires.

I’ve been to several gender reveal parties, and none of them had the expectations of gifts. Sure some people go way over the top, and obviously it’s not worth the risk of setting anything on fire. But I see no problem with having a casual get together with friends and cutting open a cake or something along those lines to reveal the gender. People are just having a good time, and most of the time it doesn’t negatively affect anyone or anything.
My son and daughter in law must did the babies fighting but they had Teddy bears and they kept playing with them So much falling down getting to falling down getting up, and then finally in going to be a first time grandma to a baby boy also that baby boy is going to have two Lil Tia's just a few months older then him. We are all So happy and excited💞💙
The boxing one was ridiculous as the three step combo nearly had her lost. The baseball one was hilarious as she could not throw. Some of the smoke ones are hilarious as there is just so much smoke that we lose sight of the parents
