- Hey everyone and welcome to The Classic Granny Stripe Sweater! This is a made to measure pattern consisting of the granny stitch. As this pattern is made to measure, you can use any ply of yarn from your stash. I have provided the measurements that you will work towards so you can concentrate on making an amazing sweater in any yarn that you desire!
The tutorial is in US TERMS and the sweater has around 8cm positive ease.

Construction Details...
This garment is made up of 2 panels, one front and one back. They are both worked from the bottom up. You will then add some neckline shaping before seaming the pieces together. The sleeves are crocheted directly onto the garment. You will then add some rounds on the neckline and the bottom hem.
Here are some yarn estimates based on both DK (5mm hook) & Chunky yarn (7mm hook). You can find more details with regards to metres and yards in the written pattern - www.craftandacuppa.com/produc...
Please note the yarn measurements are estimates and it all depends on the yarn/hook you are using and the length that you go for! These are based on a cropped/waistline length.

I notice you wear alot of what you crochet, I have a question. How do you keep your sweaters or jumpers from catching on things and snagging? Everytime I wear one of my creations it catches on something and snags!

Yes you can use any ply of yarn that you wish! The one that I wearing in the beginning of the video is made with DK yarn. I forgot to add that to the written description of the video but I will do as soon as I can get to my computer!
