- Hey everyone and welcome to The Granny Peplum! This garment is tight fitting around the bust area with around 2cm negative ease and then flares out around the bottom. You can chose to make either a peplum top or keep adding extra length to turn it into a smock dress. The pattern is made to measure so you can use any ply of yarn and hook, although I would suggest a dk cotton/acrylic and a 5mm hook. This is what the yarn yardage is based on. I look forward to seeing everyone’s version of The Granny Peplum.

Apart from a rainbow granny stitch cardigan for my daughter a year or so ago I've never crocheted a granny Square garment, but I really like the look of your peplum top and will hopefully get started on it soon. Your tutorial is so clear and informative.
Can I also ask where you get your 'wavy' stitch markers - I can't seem to find them.
Thank you for your hard work sharing these lovely garments with us.
Thank you! I actually can't remember where I got them from, I think it could possibly have been my local yarn shop but I honestly can't remember. That's pretty bad isn't it 😆
hello! I have just arrived here and have already registered. I loved what you do. Please check with RUclips for subtitles in other languages. I speak Portuguese and used the translator to write. kisses from Portugal!❤
Hi thank you so much!
I saw this on the crochet FB group and now I have another project to add to my list!!! Any tips on the tighter sleeves (like on the FB post) instead of flowy like I saw on video cover?
Or is the pattern like the picture you posted and I just haven't read far enough yet 😆
Hey! Yes I actually have another tutorial on how to cuff granny stitch sleeves and it was this exact garment that I used for the tutorial. If you make long sleeves for The Granny Peplum and when you are happy with the length, find my other tutorial for cuffing the sleeves and it will show you exactly what to do!
Gorgeous 😍😍, btw what thread are you using? Cotton??
Its called Sidar Stories and it's a cotton/acyrlic blend ❤️
Thank youu💕
Do you have measurements for girls? I would like to do a match for me and my daughter (she is 7).
Hi not at the moment I don't 🙂
For the neckline does it matter if it’s slightly under…I’m doing the xl am at 18cm but if I add another row it takes it to about 19cm?
No that should be fine, if youbare worried you can aways add the extra and then add extra rows around the entire neckline when you get to that section ❤️
Brilliant thank you! 😊
