Video tour of a cozy modern house I made, perched atop a desert cliff. Everything was made using the vanilla game, standard mode, on Xbox One. Found in Eissentam Galaxy.
Today i learned you can scale the size of items before placing them. Thank you
Wow this looks lived-in af. You've got to have a background in architecture or something because this looks legit.
Thanks! And good guess - I'm a carpenter.
Nice 🙂 👍 @@roamingspacecat
@roamingspacecat "Ew" said the plumber. Just kidding. Carpentry is a valid current trade.
This is perfect, sometimes all I want on a new planet is basically a tiny home. Also, I can’t believe I never knew you could scale the size of the aquarium!
honestly, the kitchen looks absolutely amazing
Oh my gosh. This is absolutely incredible any mods used
Thanks! No mods used, just vanilla game on Xbox
@roamingspacecat wow that's incredible! You've got some major skills and an outside the Box mind. Don't let the world ever kill it.
I wanna live here so bad 🥲it’s beautiful. Love the downstairs tv room set up with the sideways locker acting as the “tv stand” and the little game consoles on them lol and that kitchen is amazing man I’d cook so many meals in there. Level of detail is insane everything from the little knick knacks on the shelf’s to the plants and wall art. Super well done man!!
Thanks man! I really planned a place that I'd want to live in myself.
Impressive build, the kind of cozy cottage I'd love to make (but I have no talent). The little details from the oven (with I'm guessing an extractor fan?) to books on a shelf. Even the loo is detailed.
Thanks dude! I've got a few other builds I can do a walk through of and put up here. Possibly with proper narration if I'm not too lazy. :3
Really nice cottage with loads details and neat ideas, love the computer in the bedroom looks really cool, makes me wanna start building again in no man's sky but im so out touch now😂 used to love building houses too, i hope to see more of your builds👍 (subbed)
As a new player, I didn’t even know you could do this in NMS! 😮 Not many people show this stuff. Nice work!
@@keysncoffee7733 thanks! It was a lot of fun to make
@@roamingspacecatare there mods or can I just begin building this in creative? It looks amazing
So many ideas in one video
... wwhat the... he built a... what, even a wc, and them concrete... I mean pillows. Holy Geronimo. Subbed.
Impressive amount of details in your base, nice video
Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, I am impressed AF…
Thanks!
Really nice dude! I love what you did in the kitchen using those as a red wall for some backsplash to the countertop. Looks great!
Thanks dude! I'm really proud of this one.
absolutely beautiful
Wow! There are some really amazing ideas here!
Thanks! Feel free to use any build ideas for your own creations
@roamingspacecat Oh yeah! I've already seen some things that I've built already, that you've done better. Time for an update to my base!
Man I wish you could blue print bases
This place is so awesome
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
From one base builder to another, this is awesome👌🏼
What did you use for books on the bookshelf?😍
Thanks for the compliment! The books are flat panels shrunk down and roated
If I may make a suggestion? If you have editing software just attach a screen cap of the coordinates at the end of your video. Screen cap of the portal address is best. Very cute build.
Thanks! And good suggestion. I'll whip up something for that.
Damn how much I miss those NPCs from this you can meet them in your capital freigther.
Tremendous work, well done
This is the best "normal house" base I've ever seen, and I thought mine was pretty good! I'll definitely come visit and *ehemmm steal some ideas*! Was everything done by building normally? Or did you use glitch building for some of the shrunken objects? I can never remember which parts are resizable eheheh
Thanks, I'm glad to pass on some inspiration to you! Everything was built in the vanilla game, although I did use the resizing glitch to shrink some items down.
Looking forward to seeing what you build next. :)
looks amazing
This is some gormet shit, Jimmy
Looking at such masterpieces humbles the shit out of me. God forbid someone would ever stumble over the godless abominations I waste hours upon hours for. 🤮
@@Hurbie_53 thanks! But don't beat yourself up! As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters. :)
This is absolutely fabulous! ha ha
Did you have to hack or mod any of this?!
@aejackson thanks! It's all vanilla game on Xbox. I used free placement and the resizing glitch to make everything
Hey, why can't I find most of those parts you are using? Like the big single pain windows and stuff? Am I just not far enough into the game yet?
@TheDaveCalaz you can unlock more building parts via the Space Anomaly, using salvaged data modules. For this build, I also turned on free placement, which allowed me to layer objects on top of each other to create different looking parts. I also used the re-sizing glitch in a few areas, too, to shrink down otherwise non-sizable parts.
This feel so cozy, I really wish their next game have a better building system, i know how annoying to pull such built in no man's sky.
@CoolSs thanks! Yeah, NMS definitely has more of a cold, outer space frontier vibe when it comes to building. Turning on free build and using the sizing glitch really helps turn the vanilla pieces into something new
@@roamingspacecat I might give it a try then, Ever since I got my frigate. I forsaken my land base. I might build a new in any beautiful world I find.
Unironically, this is the dream.
@CoolSs best of luck! If you want any building tips, let me know, and I'd be happy to share
Yeah - have ssen it in minecraft, here … so many 'birds' :)
i.e. Bird's Nest Lovers = lot of glass/windows.
Me, i am a caveman, fortress lover, cat in the box. ;)
What?
Is your base causing the low framerate?
how did he scale the nutrient processor in vanilla?
I'm on Xbox, but the glitch works on other systems, too, using the corresponding buttons.
Take an item that is resizable, and scale it up or down (in this case I made it as small as it can go), and place it down.
Select the item you want to resize, then simultaneously press X and Y to enter wiring mode. The item you want to resize will dissappear, and allow you to pick up the scaled piece you set down earlier. Pick up the scaled piece, and simultaneously press Y and Right Trigger. If you time it right, the game will glitch, and you will instead place the unscalable item at its new size.
It does take a few tries, as you need to hit the buttons exactly at the same time. I'll upload a video soon showing the steps.
Hope this helps!
I followed the link you give above but couldn't find any coordinates. Would love to visit is you don't mind. Thank you.
That is odd. Are you in the right galaxy?
@@roamingspacecat no, I’m not anywhere. I couldn’t find the glyph coords at the link. Puzzling
@@smidon I checked the link - the coordinates are in the photo snapshots, bottom left hand corner. This was one of my first base tour videos, and I didn't think to add the coordinates to the video. My later videos have coordinates within them. Hope this helps :)
@@roamingspacecat ah - ok thank you - will look again.
Why sl the crackling noises though?
Sound effects for the fireplace yeah they are a little loud no matter where you are in the building
Nice. But noisy.
@jgame8730 thanks for the feedback. This was one of my first videos. Way before I got a capture card, and proper editing software. I do plan on making a better version of this tour at some point
20 fps!
