Also the Bionic name is due to the addition of the neural engine, the word bionic combines biology and techlology and therefore is refrencing the neural engine which is dedicated hardware that accelorates machine learing tasks

Then the updated A12Z version, added an extra GPU core for a total of 8.
Sorry, this is incorrect - bionic is for BIO as in FACE ID being your BIO-METRICS - hence the iPhone X being the first phone with faceID and the first phone with the BIONIC chip

I think you are wrong, if you check "September Event 2018 - Apple" in 45:52 you will see the CPU architecture is called fusion still, the Bionic in the name actually refers to chips with the neural engine.
