Factory stereo has always sounded better than any aftermarket. The only thing factory always lacks is bass. I worked in car audio many years ago when I was a kid and I was always staunch on that with customers. Also got in trouble at work for convincing people to not upgrade their panel speakers and only add subs with factory.
I have the exact same truck and color. I started out with a 8” sub, then to 2 12’s, a single 18” Subwoofer, 1 15” Sub, and now I’m on 2 10’s and about 3k watts. Upgraded alternator, wiring and the whole 9. Im an audiophile and just was never happy with any of my setups. The crewmax not having the capability to have the Rear seat slide forward or fold down is a real PITA ……Subbed man 😂
Yeah for sure! I’ve wondered if the seat system from the 07-13 could be easily retrofitted since the cab was the same. But I haven’t dug into that project more than brainstorming so far.
I was hoping you’d get a little more technical with the actual amp wiring and line out converter connections. Pretty much everything done under the seat is what most people need to know how to do!

Thank you, great tips on hiding the wires.
Thanks for doing this video, I too am wanting to do the same thing in my 21 crewMax.

You better be rocking "Back to the Hotel" back to the day's of the L-Train on the way to school. Lol
Oh I definitely have been! 🤣👌🏼
Subs for life! Big fan
where did you get the remote turn on from. that kit you show seems to do an add a circuit from the fuse box
Sorry, I tied that into the 12v dash outlet, since that is an ignition on power source.
@@turbostoybox2182 ok cool! I just got a 17 tundra and planning my subwoofer add.
@@FosterFarmsOk Good luck man! Hardest part is always fishing the wire thru the firewall for me.
You’re not missing anything with the JBL … which sucks ass! .. it’s horrible. I have 19’ 1794 and the sound system, it’s truly garbage. Subscibed! 😊
bro please help me o have a Toyota tundra and the wires are different
Unfortunately I just followed a diagram I looked up on google. Maybe try that?
