2022 Porsche Macan T - Is better handling ENOUGH? (Review) UK 4K

- The Macan T is new to the range in 2022, and sits in between the standard Macan and the V6 Macan S. The T stands for Touring, and it mixes the chassis upgrades you’ll find in the S with the four-cylinder engine from the standard car. Our question is, was this a gap that needed filling?

Great video, Tish! When we ordered our Macan S, my saleswoman was trying to push us into a T, as they had allocations for the base and T, but not the S or GTS. I’m glad we waited for an S allocation. I’ve been so happy with my S so far! It handles like a dream, and like you mentioned, the steering feel is actually really good for a crossover with electric power steering. I too absolutely hate the touch buttons, but after I had the console wrapped with satin PPF, it not only looks better IMO, but it doesn’t leave any fingerprints behind. Glad you like the Macan, and I’m glad I went with one!
Stunner 😉 another great review! Every day is a school day as I'd not normally watch vids about such cars so you're doing something right 😀
Thank you very much, High praise 🤗
Really love the review as you shared everything in less than 10mins which is great! I love the Macan T as I feel it is a real pick of the range for me! Great to see you doing a review on it and sharing your thoughts particularly around the handling 👍👍
I see Porsche, I like. I'm soooooo happy you said that the Macan T felt faster than 6.2 seconds because you are absolutely right. Once launched properly you can get it to 5.9 seconds or less. That's the thing with Germany engineering, or better yet Porsche engineering. It's always faster than what is said on paper. Anywho, awesome vid. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Well done !
Macan T is a great addition to the best ‘small’ SUV you can buy. I’d recommend the ‘T’ over the standard 2.0L Macan all day. You mentioned the Porsche configurator & the abundance of options and personalisation that you have as a Porsche customer which makes these bespoke vehicles even better.
Hope the hospitality of PC Reading was excellent! Look forward to more Porsche reviews in the future.
It's a standard Macan with a GTS Bodykit.
@@ricklee3no it isn’t lol if you were to spec a base Macan to a T you’d be adding a lot more extras than “exterior bits”
Lighter engine and a stage one tune, what's not to like.
as always the review is amazing as well you
What is impressive is that mini skirt! no one is looking at the car.
hahahaha erm thanks Bill
Hungry guy bill
It's just a Base model Macan in GTS Spec.
It’s not £1k difference though once you spec the sports chrono etc that come in the T as standard. I’ve just ordered a T and the same spec S was nearly £6k dearer
It may have been at time of filming, this was filmed 16 months ago ☺️
Striking beauty reviewing a wonderful Porsche. This is definitely my favorite ensemble of yours, Tish. :)
Very nice my beautiful maim what a great attending
To spec an S to match the T is about £4000. Good review though,
The Porsche Macan is one of my favourite D-segment SUVs on sale.
But personally, I’d go for the V6.
I would be happy to have any Porsche
Me too!!
Look smart Tish 👍😋
☺️☺️
Does the base s still have all those option pre-ticked? I'd think it would be more than 1k more
It doesn’t get the sports chrono which is £750 and then once you go to town smoking the lights, tailpipes, badges ect it’s more like £3000
@@AutoSocialUK Not that much more when you're spending that much anyways
Very nice
Cool isn’t it!
@@AutoSocialUK yes cool
Great review as always 😊..but I am interested in getting a Macan as my next SUV as good as this is I’ll get the S 🎉
You need the 2.9 V6 forget the 2.0 litre , I’ve got the new GTS , once you’ve driven an S or GTS a base Macan or T seem mediocre.
Yes I bet it does!
Yet another car going by the way side for the sake of electric 🙄 unfortunately that's the way the cookie 🍪 crumbles i suppose. great review Tish..excellent channel 👌
Wow...car too!😋
For 1k more you'd have to go for the 'S'! Maybe if this was 3-4k less it would have a case...
Spec for spec youd be about £10k more for an S
Ho provato la T, è ridicola, motore di una Golf. Lasciate perdere, soldi buttati nel c. Poi il sound praticamente non esiste, assurda-
Dear Porsche, please Tish have a go in Cayenne Turbo GT...👍
Hahah yes please!
I, for one, am not excited for the electric version and resent being forced into an inferior product.
I think you have gone off track 😢most people can’t afford that car review cars people can afford in this climate 😮
Don’t worry, I have just the perfect video coming up for that soon ☺️☺️
With this being the last petrol Porsche, all I can say is the used market is going to be going gangbusters.
Second hand petrol and diesel is going to get busy and still they’ll have trouble selling evs.
Sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the chaos.
It’s the last combustion Macan, rather than Porsche, mind you… I don’t think it will be long
Cupra Formentor 310ps - Poor man's Porsche, faster 4.3 secs and cheaper to afford and maintain; will beat the Macan T all day long 🤣. Nice review Tish 👌😉
The Formentor is not the poor man’s Porsche the Audi Q5 is because they both use the MLB platform. The Formentor is the poor man’s Q3 because they use the MQB platform.
The old Porsche looks so much classier than this SUV thing 🤷🏾
I did think this originally but actually it’s they’ve grown on me a lot!
@@AutoSocialUK I get it, it happened to me as well with some other cars. And the rear lights are great, as you've said 🌚
fast 4cyl porsche? it doesn't make sense
Who goes over 80-90 mph regularly outside of the track?
The base and the T only work in asian markets where the tax is over 100% for engines over 2l, So in Asia the price difference between a Base and a S is close to £50k! So why if you are in the UK would you not spend the extra $1k and get a S??
That's really interesting, Thank you for sharing
@@AutoSocialUK thanks I have a base speced exactly as a T, love the car but I'd trade it for a no option S anytime.
