Started off with some Deafheaven/Rolo Tomassi vibes, then moved on to some purely Loathe vibes. That's what I love about this band. They pay homage to their influences, but ultimately they have their own very unique sound.
Beginning definitely has a POG/Deafheaven/Rolo Tomassi blackened hardcore sound to it. The middle section has a Botch/Car Bomb feel to it. The outro almost has a, at their softer moments, 7 Angels 7 Plagues sound to it.
I have a pretty good feeling that this song is a metaphor for anxiety. The title says it itself, however I love that it takes us through some of the stages. For instance, the beginning of the song it’s the heaviest part of the whole song, and even the whole album. Then, the near the end of the middle part, it is not as fast paced and heavy as the beginning or the beginning of the middle part, and it even feels like it takes a while to finish, symbolizing how anxiety tend to cool down and settle. The settling part is heavily concentrated within the end, where its peaceful and calming, just like how people, like me, who have anxiety feel like when it’s gone. It shows that in the end, everything will be okay. This song is perfect
Such a beautiful outro for a chaotic song. Its like finding ur inner peace after being in such emotional turmoil. Hope everyone who sees this could find theirs as well. ❤

You can tell these guys are really influenced by Sunbather. Both from the beginning of this song and from the "What would you do of you weren't afraid?" conversation in Two Way Mirror. Sounds super reminiscent of the "I want to dream" conversation in Dream House by Deafheaven. Its tight tho. A great band taking pages from the book of another great band.
Pitchfork classified this album as "the Sunbather of Metalcore" because Sunbather was a musical and commercial breakthrough within Black Metal, the way is I Let It In within Metalcore
The transition between the end of Gored and the first 45 seconds of this song is absolute perfection. This speed and atmosphere is exactly what my ears wanted to hear.
