My doorbell camera has 64gb micro sdcard innside and cloud uploading service so when wifi is off it starts recording imidetly intil wifi gets back or the card is full. The only thing you can do is take whole camera and run, but remember to mask your self very good.
I just got the Nest Doorbell Battery. Is that Dual band? Also, the battery is lasting like 1 to 2 days only. ugh!! The specs say it should last 2 to 3 months but I have seen reports that it does not bode well in cold weather. So it seems the Nest Doorbell Battery is not a great solution for Canadians.
Yes, it a Dual band. But how is your wifi setup? I have installed a couple of battery powered nest. They last about 1 month not 2 days. Check your setting.
