    What an awesome storage system! You are very organized, I’m jealous!! I love the spreadsheet of all your DMC colors being used in other charts. With so many WIPs I can see how this would be extremely helpful.

    That was so much fun. I have the pip n Chip. I dont have them all both binated yet but I love them. So nice to see how you have them set up. And then you open the botton drawer and there's my unicorn chart. It's always so fun to see art of Disney's Past, Present, Forever.
    Thank you for all of it. 😍

    Thx for the great info. I didn’t know those Pop & Chip bobbins were that thick. Very helpful to know that. Your bead storage boxes are out of stock. And Tracy’s shop is closed for the moment. I did email her. Those bags and guards are lovely. But I’m trying to find out if she ships to the US. Very good systems you have going. Thx for the video.

      Hi Jannie, thanks so much!
      The link I left for the bead storage is just the brand website. I think they have lots of stockists so have a surf around the web. They do come in and out of stock so I don't think they're gone for good. I'm sure Tracy could sort something out for you when she reopens. If you use Instagram go give her a follow over there ❤️

      Hi there. Tracy wrote me back. She’s leaving the business. I think she will have some of her leftover stock for sale off of Facebook which I don’t subscribe to. But she’s lost 60% of her business so she went back to work and started a new job today.

    Hi! Are you still loving the pip and chip? I currently use floss drops / Annie’s Keepers for my projects and have been debating on getting the Pip and Chip bobbins for my master set.

    • @thediddystitcher
      @thediddystitcher  Год назад

      Yes, I'm still loving the set up for my master set. I've just kitted up a lot of projects in the past couple days and it makes it so easy having a master set laid out nicely in the Bisley. I can easily take out bobbins and put them back without the surrounding ones falling on top since each bobbin has its own slit in the foam. Plus I can easily see if one is missing or running low on thread to order more

    • @thediddystitcher
      @thediddystitcher  Год назад

      @@misshoneybeestitcher I have moved on to using a Notion template now which works sort of like Google Sheets or Excel but gives so many more functions for tracking other stash as well as all the information I need for my WIPs. (I talk about it a little in Flosstube 38 video on this channel) If you just want the Google Sheet for the DMC stash you can send me an email helentribe18@gmail.com and I'll send it over

    Those look lovely. I buy my thread second hand usually so I don’t always know the numbers and lot is anchor not DMC. I don’t by offbrand. Sadly this system won’t work for me. Also I don’t do cross stitch I embroider and slow stitch so the numbers are not really important to me.

    • @thediddystitcher
      @thediddystitcher  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. Pip and Chip also make lots of different brand number sets, including Anchor, and you get blank ones if you just like the thicker bobbins but have no code. Whatever system you choose it's got to work for you though! No point fighting against it 😊

    Loved your video. I’ve watched a few on organisation and have toyed with which pip & chip system to use, but seeing your Bisley cabinet and how much you can store in it I think I’m going to go with it. You’ve inspired me to become more organised about tracking where my threads are and I really liked the idea of just taking 1m strands from the main bobbin. This will make some of my larger projects much more manageable. You mentioned the Scarlet Quince app. Is it as good as Pattern Keeper (if you use it)? I know you can only have Scarlet Quince on it but does it allow you to highlight the symbols you’re looking for? I find with Scarlet Quince in the past I often miss a nearby stitch which is frustrating with all the confetti on their projects 😖😂😂

    • @thediddystitcher
      @thediddystitcher  2 года назад

      Hi Carolyn,
      Thanks for watching and I'm glad it's inspired you 😊
      I think the scarlet quince system is comparable to pattern keeper. It works on a browser rather than an app but you can find and highlight stitches which is a godsend with the confetti!!!!
      It has all of the data like number of stitches done today, percentage done etc so it's very comprehensive but yes you can only use Scarlet Quince patterns

    Do you precut all your floss before you bobbin them up?

    • @thediddystitcher
      @thediddystitcher  2 года назад +1

      No, if you precut you have to put multiple 'ends' trough the slits. Up to 16 if you have a full skein and are cutting them into 100xm lengths like I do. If you keep it as a whole skein you only put two end through, usually one for each side
