I think he's still vietnamese with a vietnam passport and has studied in aussie for majority of his life. Also he still has that hint of vietnamese accent in him. Just like me, I've been an international student in Singapore since secondary school 😅
370$ for a tiny room is a total ripoff, but on the brighter side he is making from 800$ to 1200$ for 24 hours per week by working inside the uni compound is a win win.
Learning how to cook, cut down on shopping and staying healthy are the biggest ways to save money in life regardless if you are a student or not. Eating out, buying things you want but not necessary and going to see doctor constantly are very bank draining expenses which can sometimes be preventable if you are mindful in life.
6 years in Sydney, this guy's parents must be doing laundry business in VN. Oh and, UNSW fees are A$45-53K per year. Bro must be rolling in green or co sponsored by Star Casino. 😂
Wait a minute!!! This guy earns $1k-1.2k a week working a total of 24 hrs a week. Does that mean he gets paid $40+ an hour?? I work in a hospital and earn about that much after 3 years of study
@ that’s insane. This guy is definitely on the top end of university student income earners. Most of my mates do uber eats, or work tradie/factory jobs and get about $20-$25 an hour. I hope this video does not set unrealistic expectations of earning income in Sydney
This is one of the typical BS video that try to inspire and give "great" advices so people can praise them because if these random average people can do it without complaining you also should shut up and be complacent with your life.
Yes, $1000-$1200/weekly is about $70k/year. That would be equivalent to a full-time graduate role, so very much an outlier salary for 24 hours per week.
Coming to Sydney or anywhere in Australia is the biggest waste of money in the first place. if you are looking for education go to some place else , if u want to immigrate to a very expensive country just to feel good then yes Australia can be a candidate .
i think dont study in australia, being someone from the same uni as william i think your money is better spent in USA or Europe Both USA and EU has better labs than Aus And if you can attend EU unis its even cheaper than Aus Plus its super difficult to find work part time in Aus Many times the jobs available are in chinese or asian shops where they pay you below the minimum wage You will have a better chance of landing work in Aus if you are a PR. Lastly the job prospects in USA and EU are much better than in Aus It would better to be a tradesperson if you want to continue living in Australia But dont expect that your trade experience can be valuable in your same country I really urge watchers of this video to be very careful of choosing to study in australia there are much better options out there especially in terms of price in EU
Wow, William said some really great tips as a student! So helpful, so demure. Keep going William, you got this!
William is the best!!
He doesn't sound like an international student. He speaks in a perfect aussie accent.
Ikr… he speaks like a local Sydneysider 😂

The waiting list to migrate to Australia particularly from East Asian countries and India is endless. They can’t get here fast enough
Frugal living at its best.
I know that guy, very demure, very mindful, very sexy
Hate to say it, but if you don’t know most of this stuff via way of common sense this video isn’t going to help you!
Does anyone know his instagram, he is so handsome.
Perhaps you should have interviewed a Singaporean student ??
EXACTLY!!! 👍👍
Just askin. How can an international student have a proper Australian accent? If he is born and bred Vietnamese
clearly he sounds vietnamese.
He said he's been in Australia for 6 years. That's plenty of time to adopt the native accent. But still, he doesn't sound fully Aussie
Lol as an Aussie born Chinese, he definitely does not have an aussie accent. He has what we Call an fob aussie accent
Boycott Australia - the country which is beholden to US/UK imperialism.
