I have been editing with Davinci Resolve now for 3 years and have gone through a lot of online tutorials, but yours is by far the best. I am surprised that I haven't found your channel earlier. I have only started with the first two of your free Fusion lessons and have already learned details that no other course even mentions. That is absolutely great !!! I have already subscribed to your channel and hope that your videos keep up this great level. Can't wait to see your website, after I am done with these intro videos.
just found your channel. your in depth explanations, teaching style, walking through the what AND the why. Brilliant. Subscribed an thank you so much for your hardwork and kindness sharing these. Hope to see a lot more
Hi Kevin, its awesome, your in depth explanation of the subject is next level, however; I would request to provide such clip file sources so that a person like me who is completely beginner can practice along with you and can learn better. Love your content bro keep teaching.
Thanks for the video. I was a little puzzled that you even showed the 'Make New Fusion Clip' method, let alone show it first: it isn't your preferred method, it probably isn't an intuitive way to work for anyone because virtually all other compositing packages simply have you define input media on the fly as needed, AND for reasons unexplained, adjusting ins and outs in the keyframe window for media in the compositing flow is slower using the 'Make New Fusion Clip'... Feels like one way to make the video get down to business faster would be omit the inferior method entirely, or mention it later in the video, in passing, if that's desirable in some way?
Sorry to be daft, but I have no idea what effect you are trying to achieve. I get the steps, yet the concept escapes me. I'm a big picture person: start with a sequence then explain how it's created. It's really bothering me at this point so clearly I'm missing something vital or this method, while informative, is not a good fit for someone like me. Having worked in the After Effects world I'll definitely need to search out other ways to make the transition to Fusion.
